it is an older hotel so you have to accept it is a little bit dated. I booked an older hotel and that is what I got. However it was superb. My bed was comfy, the sheets were clean. Nice size room. The two things that really stood out at the hotel though was the staff and the food. We had an evening meal and it was lovely. I enjoyed every mouthful. All the staff were so friendly and helpful I genuinely could not fault them. I run a business so I know the importance of staff and their effect on customers. All the staff I met were a credit to the hotel and its owner.
My bedroom floor creaked really loud everytime I moved. However as I said earlier it is an older hotel, I knew this when booking and creaky floorboards go with the territory.
I loved the location of the hotel, the food was great and the room very comfortable. The waitress in the dining room was very friendly and accommodating. Michael the proprietor was amazing very helpful. My sister and I and granddaughter had a wonderful time. Will definitely come back if we come to Bicester again.
Clean and good size room. It's old and ready for a renovation. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. It was a convenient location for us.
Room was hot from the recent summer temperatures, and it was almost impossible to cool it down. Fans were provided.

A little old fashioned but added to the charm
Perfect location if one wants to see Bicester village but also for access to the lovely original old town. Friendly staff and nice, clean room. If it is very hot outside please observe that there is no aircondition, but on the north side no problem. Enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Old school hotel, in a nice area, with spacious rooms.

Great location for my reason to be in the area, close to town center to walk to shops and restaurants. Hidden car park with plenty of spaces behind the hotel.
My room was great apart from the temperature, room was very hot. No doubt due to the current heatwave, there was a fan in it but it was noisy and didn’t have much effect.
