Lovely and characterful English town hotel. Staff were friendly. Food served in the bar in the evening was tasty and plentiful. Overall very clean and tidy. The room was clutter free, bed comfortable and with an outside window a good temperature . Good choice at breakfast which was included in the price.
Lovely place to stay. Breakfast very good
WiFi poor at times
It is actually all out of my expectation! All people are nice, patient and kind even including the other guests. As compared with my bad experience in a 4 star hotel in London just the day before, this one is much better! I am an Asia face. I can sense the warm welcome from the hotel. I can also observe that they treat all the guests in same way. Of course you can not compare the hotel room, but for a short stay with many warm smiles, I would rather choose this hotel. By the way, they have a nice garden!
Nothing to complain.

Friendly helpful staff. Looks to be family owned.
Nothing
Mould on the walls..dirty marks on decor everywhere..we left straight away after seeing the room and booked another place to stay...it was disgusting and shouldn't be advertised on booking.com...rip off
I travelled with my mum and adult daughter. I booked a triple garden room and it was a great size to accommodate us all.
The hotel is very welcoming. It is a charming residence and that was the appeal for our stay. We enjoyed the convenient location to shop in both the town and Bicester village. The train station was also ideally located for us to walk to The LIttlebury.
We had no dislikes. The staff were very accommodating.
Big space
I thought it was very good , waitress forgot to bring me my toast or explain about that you help yourself to coffee & tea I bought out to you , she was very limited in conversation, like saying good morning , saying that it didn’t spoil breakfast. The traditional breakfast was very .
Breakfast was very good , good morning would have been from the waitress & that she explained a bit what was on offer .
The fire alarm went off twice during the night each time I got to sleep.
I might suggest that unless you can smell burning flesh or at least confirm the the validity of the potential fire before sounding the alarm.
It is s beautiful building and the room we stayed has a lot of space.
The property is a bit rundown. Time slot for breakfast is too short.
Great location for the shopping village and the town. Very friendly staff. Nice bar area. Good breakfast. Lovely garden. Rooms were clean.
Room was a tad cool at night. Mattresses were very very soft(for us).
