Booked 2 minutes before arrival due to an issue with anothet hotel. The person on reception was very helpful and showed me to the room. Single room, it had everything I needed.

A little dated
The staff were amazing went above and beyond . The location was central . The breakfast was lovely
The room could have been slightly cleaner bit dusty . The bathroom floor the flooring was ripped and we couldn’t shut the bathroom door . We told them but because we was only stopping one night we said it was ok but needed sorting when we left .
Friendly, close to town centre
An amazing family run hotel with attached bar and restaurant. The restaurant menu was excellent. We had the filet steak and the sea bass. Both cooked to perfection. At 9pm live music started and he performed a great 2 hour set list of hits from the last 10 years. Very fun. It’s the type of property that they owner comes to have a chat during dinner, you end up chatting to the table next to you and you end up feeling like its your own local pub by the end of the evening. The room was large with a comfortable bed and good quality en-suite. Excellent breakfast was included and we explored their beautiful back garden afterwards. Would definitely stay again.

The gentleman I booked with and who welcomed us when we arrived was very friendly and efficient. Bar was busy and fun, room was spacious and quiet, garden really nice. Lunch and breakfast good. They were very busy with funeral and anniversary dinner when we arrived but dealt with everything efficiently.
Breakfast was genuinely lovely, super tasty full english, well cooked and you could tell had been made by someone that cared. top marks!
I'm ok with slightly old fashioned hotels, I prefer somewhere with a bit of character. if you arent ok with this then I'd find somewhere else

Really good location with ample parking. Lovely garden for the dogs, that were made very welcome.
A little dark in the bedroom, which was a little dated - but we never expect the fancier rooms when pet friendly.
Good location - very close to the center of Bicester and good value.
Extremely dated in the room - felt like something from the early 70s. The room photos on the site are misleading as in hindsight it appears AI has been used to modernise the fittings etc.

Honestly this was a fantastic stay. For the price i got an absolute steal. Breakfast was amazing the staff couldn't do enough and I felt so welcome. I was on my own with 3 dogs and they couldn't be more accommodating. I ate 3 courses in the restaurant and all the food was lovely crab cakes, salmon and lemon cake with a twist for pudding which was my fave. Free parking and a brilliant location also is a bonus.
Nothing really, the hotel was pretty dated but the price reflects this.
