The bedroom was lovely. Staff were very friendly
The bathroom was very disappointing - really small - my husband (over 6' could hardly get in). Mouldy ceiling too. No water in the room. The breakfasts were only ok.

Parking on first come first serve not ideal
The suite was nice and spacious with a wonderfully comfortable bed.
Walking across the road to go for breakfast, water pressure in the shower is lacking.
When searching for a property I ALWAYS add parking to my criteria, it doesn't need to be free but I want it to be available. Between the little inn and the sister hotel over the road there is an excess of 50 rooms between the 2 buildings with 11 parking bays and 1 disabled bay.
Parking in Grasmere is troublesome on a quiet day but when booking a stay that has parking as a criteria it's a huge issue. Had we not fallen lucky with a disabled bay on the green we would of been cancelling the stay under what could be argued as false advertisement.
Hotel is on main road with traffic and busses passing by all hours. You always get the noisiest rooms booking through a third party. We had to change rooms for a quiet room. Did not sleep the first night.

Everything was super clean and staff were amazing. Food was fantastic, one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. Cant wait to return.
