Central in Grasmere, surrounded by wonderful views
My first room was above the hotel entrance & very noisy due to door banging but staff moved me to a quieter room which was excellent.

The parking
Great central location in Grasmere with a spacious and bright room. The breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Check in was easy and stress free.
Parking limited outside of room however alternative car park was provided.

Perfect
Amazing location (obviously!) and the room was very comfy, clean and spacious. The staff were generally great, especially the Spanish waiter at breakfast - very cheerful, kind and pleasant. The pool is nice after a long day walking!
The bathroom was a little cramped but not too bad. The door into the Little Inn was a bit annoying - I often had to touch my key card 4-5 times before it opened (it would go green but not open the door. Again, not a big deal but might be worth checking/fixing that!
The location. The bed was very comfy and the bedding was of a good quality.
The room smelt a little fusty as though it needed an airing. The shower was over the bath with no screen and the water came out onto the floor. The food was expensive for the quality and quantity and we felt rushed as we had the last sitting for Dinner and the kitchen staff wished to close early! The staff were also setting up for breakfast the following day and were noisy about it spoiling the atmosphere.

Fantastic location. Amazing views. Lovely staff. Breakfast good but plates dangerously hot.
Decor a little tired. Paintwork round window. Finish round bathroom sink. Mould in shower. Uncomfortable mattress felt springs. Had to pay for overnight parking on public car park.
Rooms were very well decorated and standard of housekeeping very good .

Parking was very difficult - we only managed to park at the hotel once during our stay and had to pay £23.80 to park at a pay & display car park during our 3 days visit ( note - the hotel had clearly mentioned that parking at the hotel was limited before I booked so I was sort of expecting an issue )
