Great location but needs some tlc

Location and size and view from our room 5. Also the pool was good

Cons:

The room especIlly the bathroom felt very tired. Cracks, lose loo seat, damp. Didnt live up to the cost or rating
At breakfast it was cold first day gut better after that. However the woman serving literally asked us every minute if we were ready to order!

Lovely from the outside unfortunately room spoilt our expectation

Cons:

Room was to hot and unfortunately you could hear or neighbour going to the toilet and shower and I mean hear every drop and plop when I highlighted this to reception I was told it was an old building and so it seemed as if they thought it was matter of a fact but as ive had over 40 years in the building trade I no this is nonsense and there numerous solutions so that you don't have to listen to this sort off thing

Pros:

Lovely hotel nice atmosphere in Grasmere shame it rained. On our wkend will go back though. Manuel makes everyone welcome. Staff are very nice rooms beautiful.

Pros:

Loved staying here the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly all working well with each other! Nice to be in a place where there are plenty of staff nothing was too much trouble.The service was quick in the restaurant and bar and the food was well prepared and lovely.
Definitely 10/10 and will be staying again in the future.

Cons:

No negative's from us we had a lovely stay at The Little Inn.

Grasmere hotel idyll
Pros:

Lovely room, helpful staff, wonderful central location.
Huge bathroom with shower and a bathtub.
Pool and sauna.

Cons:

Food was OK. But a little expensive. Bar food served in restaurant - we expected a different menu.
No lamb (local produce for the area).

Cosy Inn in beautiful Grasmere
Pros:

We loved the location, Grasmere is a beautiful village within walking distance of a few lakes plus many walks into the hills. The food both at breakfast and dinner were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Cons:

We stayed during a heat wave and the room was very hot which made it difficult to sleep, the room was a little run down also and could do with a bit of love.
