Good for a short stay, in my opinion.
Room was spotless nice and warm shower like I asked for
Room smelt of fresh paint
The location is amazing to get into Blackwood
The room we had was out of date, needed a lick of paint badly! The windowsill was chipped and mouldy as well.
The room was freezing cold although we had the heating on full blast
The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet properly. The shower was dirty.
All in all, the room needs to be updated and redecorated. Compared to the room we had in October which was much nicer, fresher and newer, this time we were very disappointed.
The food was great the room was clean and tidy and the bar and outside was nice and relaxing
We stayed here for a party at another venue a group of of us came back to the hotel at 10 pm was told by By at staff that the bar shut at 10.45 and at 10.45 the staff started cleaning the table we was sat at turned lights off made it very obvious that that that wonted us to leave we were back in our room by 11.though the night our bath room smelt like sewerage next morning check out was at 10 no staff on reception and couldn't get in to the bar area to wait for friends so had to wait in the car all in all place was convenient but not customer friendly
Very close to family, who we were visiting.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, plenty of car park space. Food and drink both good value for money.
Our room was above the bar and 1 night we wanted a early night but sadly there was a lot of noise from down stairs which I know cant be helped but it did stop by 11.30. Maybe a bit more storage in the bedrooms, and a bit of tlc needed with the decor
Nice
Good
Ideal for what I wanted for an overnight stay
They hadn’t received my payment although it came out of bank account 10 days before. I was a bit concerned about that.
