Breakfast was really good couldn't fault it. Overall we enjoyed our stay
Great location, parking good. Attractive property.
Breakfast on both days was a bit hit and miss. Had to ask on both days for the breakfast counter to be replenished.
Air Con would have been good as fan supplied wasn’t at all sufficient. Even a better fan would have been nice.
We thought the hotel was quite expensive for the experience we received.
The staff was really friendly and welcoming especially Simone and the location was really nice.
Was really disappointed with our meal in the evening. We both had Lasagna and found it very difficult to eat the pasta sheets was very rubbery and we had to send them both back.
And to top if of the next morning for our breakfast we had to wait for about 40 minutes for our cooked breakfast. We was one of the first to arrive for breakfast so wouldn’t have expected to wait that long before it got busy.
Room was small but clean
Everything we are going back one of the best hotels I've stayed in
Nothing
Great location.
Good breakfast.
Room was large and comfortable but dated.
Great location
Comfortable for a family of four adults
None
Chester House Hotel is in the heart of Bourton-on -the-water so perfect to view the area.
Room was dated and bed uncomfortable
Breakfast was served too late unfortunately so we couldn't have this.
The resteraunt and bar area was really nice and the fact you has a dchoice of two areas to eat was really nice. The food was also excellent with very attentive staff.
Location was superb, everything that Bourrton on the water has to offer is on the doorstep.
Breakfast was delicious.the only downside with the breakfast is that our cooked breakfast was brought out while we were still eating our cereal ( we also saw this happen to other guests), this caused us stress and confusion, as to either eat the cooked breakfast or continue eating our cereal. There was nowhere to place the cereal bowl once it was lifted to put the plated breakfast down, so I had to continue eating it while holding the bowl aloft. It felt a but weird.
Reception staff were always very friendly and pleasant as were the bar staff.
We had room 18, which was a little bit on the small side which we were ok with. Unfortunately we heard the noise of music I assume was coming from the bar area, was constant until ,luckily it did stop by 11pm.. it must of been quite .bad in room no 17 as well as a lady from that room knocked on our door, to ask that we keep the noise down. We showed her that we havnt got any music in and explained that the noise was coming from the bar. She apologised profusely and was very embarrassed..
Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff.
