Stayed there numerous times, going back next week. You can’t fault it

Clean and excellent value for money
Pros:

The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a large fan in the room which was great considering how hot it was.
The welcome was really friendly and couldn't have been better. The customers in the pub were also very nice and welcoming
We expected there to be quite a lot of noise from the pub below as we were on the first floor and the pub was full of people watching the football but actually there was only a little bit
For the price, it was an very good price and value for money and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area just needed somewhere to lay our heads rather that a luxury couples night away

Cons:

The only actual negative was that we had booked a room that said that there was a fridge and there wasn't but I suspect that this was a Booking.com thing, not the fault of the Black Swan staff.
Someone in the room above sound like they were doing a clog dance at 2am but it was during the World Cup so we'll not hold that against them

Had a nice stay for 1 night, good location, our dog stayed for free which was a bonus

It’s an easy walk into town, and a pub downstairs was perfect

Spacious family room in a great seafront location, but noise from the pub downstairs late at night
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Scarborough. The location was very convenient and close to the seafront. There is a paid car park about a 3-minute walk away, although parking is actually free from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning. The room itself was very spacious. I was travelling with two children, and the room had one double bed and two single beds, which worked well for us. It was also useful to have a microwave and a small fridge in the room. The bathroom facilities were good too, with both a separate shower cubicle and a bathtub.

Cons:

The hotel is the type of accommodation where the pub is on the ground floor and the guest rooms are upstairs. Because of this, it was still quite lively downstairs after 11 p.m., and the noise made it a little difficult to sleep.

Pros:

Nice and comfy bed very clean really good facilities and it's good where it's situated never the town

Cons:

That we got accused off stealing bedding and the way the owner text my gf it was very abrupt saying that we stole bedding and not returned they would call the police, in the end it was a mix up but didn't even apologise to us properly when they said they would call us back

Nice convenient stay
Pros:

Location and staff, Alfie was very helpful.

Cons:

Floor are little squeaky, but it’s an old building and can’t be changed. Wouldn’t put me off booking again.
