Owner was pleasant and helpful. For price what you would expect

Cons:

The stairs to the rooms had not been hoovered so first impression not good. Even though the price was good should still have been clean bed a little uncomfortable bedding had not been ironed do didn't look freshly made.

Lovely staff, great location, good rooms, great price
Pros:

Staff were lovely always asking how we were and how our day had been. Location was great. Amenities were good for what we needed. Lively local pub however once in the rooms you couldn't hear anything from downstairs. Great price.

Friendly folk and great location
Pros:

Warm welcome on arrival , good size room and large bathroom . Our room was missing the fridge so Alfie the barman found one from another room and he put our drinks in to cool .

Cons:

There were a few scuffs on the wall. The towels were a bit tatty and a lot of dust on the TV and shelf .

Cheep and cheerful place to stay
Pros:

This was a cheap and cheerful place to stay - you won’t get any frills but you will be greeted by the warm and friendly landlord who is very helpful
The bed and en-suite were clean and comfortable

Cons:

The stairs - it’s an old pub so the stairs were narrow and we were up 2 flights which is okay if your fit!
