Comfortable stay in an ideal location for a short stay in Scarborough.
Pros:

Comfortable and well presented room in easy reach of North and South bays. Alfie was very friendly on arrival and showed me to my room. Reasonable night's sleep despite the best efforts of herring gulls and people with loud TVs and voices in the early hours. Happy to look after my bag after I checked out until time for my train.

Cons:

Not much - could do with a bedside lamp!

Staff were very friendly and the bed was very comfortable.
Pros:

Easy to find. Very welcoming. Comfortable though basic. Very reasonable price. I’d stay again.

Cons:

Parking nearby is expensive and limited during the day. Free and unlimited 6pm to 9am. It’s a popular pub so can be noisy til late.

Perfect short break stay in Scarborough
Pros:

Warm welcome from the Alfie a member of the team who made us welcome on arrival, he also assisted us in taking our case to the room.

Nothing everything was fine.

Vriendelijk personeel
Goede douche. Prima voor door reis, maar verwacht geen romantisch hotel.

Cons:

Geen ontbijt beschikbaar.
Muffe kamer ( schimmel geur) aan relatief drukke straat, oordoppen noodzakelijk voor de lichtere slaper.

Just what was required.
Pros:

I thought the Black Swan excellent. Close to the middle of Scarborough, 10mins from the cricket ground. Friendly welcome.

Cons:

Nothing springs to mind. It’s a good, functional, place to stay with a decent pint in the bar.
