Absolutely loved are stay

Located between the river and canal, the hotel is surrounded by beauty.
Location perfect, food tasty hotel staff lovely hotel was clean amd bar was reasonable
Nothing
Perfect setting by the river and canal, great location for walks and close enough to town centre to walk. Lovely setting for a drink overlooking the river. Breakfast was nice... very relaxed atmosphere.
No air-conditioning apparently due to it being a listed building.
Slightly awkward to drive up the towpath to the hotel - if you're not a confident driver.
It got very busy so queues at the bar and for breakfast were a bit lengthy (but worth the wait to sit on the veranda overlooking the river).
We were unlucky to have noisy neighbours during the night and the oddly connecting doors (obvs locked) did not help block their noise out.
The location is stunning and fantastic breakfast
I bit picky but the bath towels really small and the bar closed really early
Very clean room with balcony overlooking the fast flowing Dee and the Berwen tourist rail track. Nice pair of outside seats. Excellent towels and bed linen. Comfortable beds with good lights over for reading. Bath with shower over good. Shower gel provided. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, free seating and pleasant staff. Super location close to Llangollen but quiet and with lovely walks from the riverside. Beautiful planters with well tended flowers.
No housekeeping so bin remained full and coffee etc. not topped up. Perhaps this was because we failed to find the "make up this room" hanging sign until just before we checked out as it had gone under the dressing table. Needs a bin in bathroom. Our room was up two flights of stairs which we found tough although the compensation was the lovely view. Parking is very challenging as non residents can use the spaces and there's just one blue badge space - there needs to be three I would suggest.
great stay

The fact we was told we could bring our bikes to then be made out to feel like a nuisance.
Excellent location and helpful staff.
Beautiful views of the river and Berwyn heritage railway station.
Room was small and due to the weather was very hot with no air conditioning or fan.
It is a beautiful setting
