Very beautiful place, will come back.
Pros:

Surrounding area is very beautiful. Comfy bed.
Free parking. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Wish there would be air con in rooms or at least in breakfast area.
Would be lovely to have a coffee machine in breakfast area so we could serve ourself.
If you arrive late there is no way to get something to eat.
We reserved two rooms for our stay but each was on different floor.

Pros:

Quaint hotel by the river. Lovely breakfast and lunch. Lovely walk into the town about half hour along the canal path. Nice walk to horseshoe falls where people were picnicing and swimming in the river. We had a room with balcony overlooking river.

Cons:

Room was very warm and smell like greasy cooking. When the balcony door was open it was fine but couldn’t leave it open due to bugs flying in at night and loud noise of the river.

Just about acceptable
Pros:

The location is very nice. With views of nature around the hotel. Parking was available and free.

Cons:

The room was very small for the double bed. The shower did not operate properly, kept going cold from hot. Breakfast was not that good, expected better quality.

Just a little frustrating with the tv reception but nothing that the staff couldn't fix!

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous locatoin. We were visitiung Llangollen for the Llangollen railway 60's weekend. We will definitely stay here again.

The views from the balcony on the second floor was amazing looking at the river

Enjoyable stay in a great location
Pros:

The location is fantastic. We had requested a room with a balcony and were impressed by the view over the river, with Berwyn station and the hills behind on the other side. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a surprisingly varied (and good value) evening menu. Breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel is also very well placed for local walks, and Llangollen is a short drive away (or a 40-minute stroll down the canal).
