Breakfast was small and not the best quality. Location was lovely. I had a room with a riverside balcony which was very small
Facilities and room size
The views amazing, members of staff outstanding and very Friendly, attention to detail outstanding,
Informative and all around a very relaxed place
If I had to complain, the shower 🚿 and shower Head,.water pressure could do with an upgrade
Everything
Nothing to dislike

The view and location were perfect.
The room got a bit hot of an evening & the bar closed to early
Location was superb, room was small but totally adequate for us, staff were extremely helpful and friendly from check to bar to restaurant. Sophie(?) was excellent at her job!
The sound of the river going by at night was really relaxing, we spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony. We ate in the restaurant one night, good choice on the menu. Make sure you book your table at night as they run a timed slot to stagger the food being prepared to make it more efficient, 6.15 is 6.15 not 6.00 or 6.30. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very unique!
Everywhere was clean and tidy.
a lick of paint, new carpet and a bit of cleaning in the odd window frames wouldn't go a miss but that didn't deter from the overall enjoyment of staying here, we would definitely go back to stay again.
Great location and breakfast, very clean
Shower leak
Very clean, comfortable room. Excellent views. Breakfast was well cooked. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Addition of net/sheer curtains would improve privacy. Guests in adjoining rooms could see into our bedroom if standing forward on their balcony as well as people on opposite side of river. This meant having to close main curtains whenever we were relaxing in bedroom.
The views of the river and the canal
Friendly staff
It wasn't as clean as we would have liked
The room was very dingy and damp
The shower was insufficient and hard to get into
Food was okay but basic
The location was lovely
Room 6 smelt like a stale chip pan from the kitchen.
1 star food hygiene rating, we eat elsewhere and didn't have breakfast which we paid for.
Reception on staffed at checking, nobody there to help.
Felt worn and grubby.
Balcony dirty full of spiders eggs and webs, needed a sweep and mop.
Bathroom very basic, cracked sink, poor towels, unconnected earth wire coming off towel rail.
The location was stunning we had a balcony room overlooking the river absolutely beautiful. This was a treat for my husband who has been unwell and it really cheered him up .
We didn't have any problems it was a relaxed pleasant stay .
Stunning location, it’s the biggest selling point of the hotel
Hotel & staff our lovely, it’s about 30 minute walk into Llangollen which is a lovely walk but some may struggle, there is no food on a Sunday night which should be noted when booking, we paid for the suite mostly for the balcony and the view was gorgeous, feel for the money there should hairdryer already in room and better selection of channels on the tv, and it would be helpful to have a coffee table by the settee, but overall would recommend to anyone to stay here
Lovely spot, right on the river, with a pretty walk along the canal or over the bridge. Place was decently comfortable, decently clean, and reasonably convenient although some distance from town. Overall, pretty all right.
Accommodations pretty basic, staff not particularly helpful. Refused to let me have a second egg with my breakfast, which I thought was pretty weird. Just not a place that really prioritizes hospitality, I suppose.
