The restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday and Dinner Wednesday to Saturday (open Sunday nights July, August & September).

Perfect overnight Stay
Pros:

From the self checkin, to the welcome in the bar, to the fantastic tasting menu dinner - everything was just perfect. Rooms were clean, spacious and welcoming. Breakfast was served from a menu, and the qiuality was excellent.

Cons:

Nothing. My only observation was that as I had forgotten my travel mirror - there was no vanity mirror in the bathroom.

Quality and Cared for !
Pros:

Rooms are perfect for a quick stay, Quality bedding, rooms are clean - bathroom fabulous - lovely branded Elemis products to use . Staff so accommodating for dinner and breakfast. Restaurant food is outstanding and the service was so welcomed.

Excellent room with lovely features and outside area
Pros:

Clean comfortable Modern with some quality touches self check in which was easy hosts were friendly at breakfast
Breakfast was excellent of high quality which made our stay overall pleasent

Cons:

We really appreciated the beautiful full-length mirror in the room, which added a lovely touch. However, the dressing table was already being used for the TV and tea/coffee tray, which made it a little tricky to find space for doing makeup or hair. I ended up placing things on the floor, which wasn’t ideal. Having a small dedicated area or surface for this would make the room even more comfortable. Would stay here again when in the area.

A quiet little spot with a wonderful restaurant

Beautiful room and breakfast,perfect for attending event at River Cottage, 15 minute drive away.
Pros:

Room was comfortable, bright and clean. Towel Robes provided. Loved the White company toiletries and the selection of tea/coffee/ hot chocolate. Breakfast choice was excellent. Team could not do enough for us.

Cons:

Only thing missing for me was a fridge, especially as bar is not open during the day to get ice or a cold drink. And I personally prefer black out blinds especially on bright summer mornings.

Superb
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was comfortable and stayed cool in the very hot weather which was great.
Food was outstanding and the service at dinner was excellent and very welcoming. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Pros:

Clean and tidy comfortable bed and nice shower,,

Cons:

No food or bar , didn't tell us until later on, road noise kept awake made the trip a waste of time and money.should of travelled up early in the morning,TV only two channels, noone there to ask as they were at their son's cricket match, limited choice of breakfast menu, what a waste of money and time,

A pleasant little retreat
Pros:

Loved the courtyard. Enjoying a warm evening with a drink was delightful. Nice clean room with roomy wardrobe. Rooms are located away from the main building and were suitably private.
Evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was also good but a little more attention to see if clients would like more toast or coffee for example would have been appreciated.

Cons:

The shower desperately needs a hose. It's a small shower cubicle and you have to be drenched in cold water before warm arrives.
