Handy location, if you can afford to upgrade elsewhere, do it
Pros:

Location is great, very handy for Paddington.

Cons:

Aircon/fan system broken, which really matters in a windowless room. It was loud and uncomfortably warm through the night. The room absolutely stank (it smelled almost like a gas leak) and there was hair in the bed from a previous guest.

La posizione. Vicinissimo alla metro e comunque in posizione top per i locali vari

Cons:

Camera tipo “loculo” sotterranea, senza finestra e per muoverti e si è in 2 persone, una deve stare fuori dalla stanza!
Le camere al piano sopra sono leggermente più grandi…2 persone stai tranquillo

Excellent location for Paddington station. Easy and low budget option
Pros:

The guy who checked me in was lovely.

The room was clean

You could open the window - or use the extra window closing for better soundproofing

Cons:

I was a little surprised that the water was not drinking water. By the time I noticed the sticker in the bathroom, I was already in my pyjamas so couldn't be bothered to go back to Reception to get some ... it would have been helpful if the check-in guy had warned me

Very basic accommodation at a good price in a good location.
Pros:

The room was small and very basic but as expected for the price so we were very satisfied.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had no TV remote - but one was brought up

Excellent location, budget friendly and safe stay in London
Pros:

The location is excellent, serviced by various train lines, you’re at Tottenham Court in a few minutes on the Elizabeth Line for the same price as the Tube and a far more comfortable ride, more reliable, frequent trains and they run later than other lines. I walked the same distance in a little under a hour via Oxford Street. The staff are very helpful. I booked a twin room on the lower ground so no complaints about the size of the room. The area is very safe (exit on Praed Street) from Paddington Station and a few minutes walk to the hotel, late at night still a lot of people around, I never once felt unsafe. Water leaked onto the floor my room from behind the shower head wall and the staff came to assess urgently and sent the plumber while I was out for the day, the staff were exceptionally helpful for my whole trip.
The bed wasn’t as comfortable as some of the reviews suggested and I read the size of the bathroom was a problem for many, it wasn’t for me, I spend such little time in the hotel and my priority is on the safety of the neighbourhood and the cleanliness of the facilities, both of which I cannot fault. It is a simple, budget-friendly accomodation that will do well if you just need a clean bed and a shower. Filtered water available in reception, there is no fridge or safe in the room but the staff can help with a safe and the rooms are not serviced. I never once heard noise from anybody else. You can pay to store luggage. Wifi was very good for me. The TVs are new, great air con in the room, I had mine off and the room temp was comfortable. Lots of shops and restaurants around. For the price and location, I will stay again.

We were covered in bites, presumably from bedbugs following our stay. I didn't expect much, I knew the room eas basically a cupboard with no windows but basic cleanliness is a must.
