Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

After spending 20 hours at the nearby hospital, all I wanted from a hotel was a few hours sleep.


That was not going to happen at the easyHotel London Paddington. I wasn’t bothered about a miniscule room, no window, no amenities or frills whatsoever. All I wanted was quiet.


Sadly the room was anything but. The aircon machine in the corner, despite being switched off emitted a whirring sound louder than the various equipment in the hospital ward I had just come from. How anyone could sleep like that I do not know.


I certainly couldn’t, so after 10 minutes promptly gathered up my belongings and left.


The front desk reception confirmed that was the sound it makes when off.


I asked for a refund and assumed that was processed at the time, however they did not do it – possibly lack of comprehension skills on their part.


They also later refused a refund via the booking.com portal.


The only saving grace was that 30 seconds away there was another hotel at the same price, where I did not have to put up with outrageous noises when trying to sleep. That also had better beds, the room and bathroom was also much bigger.


If you are reading this, check out the various other 2* hotels nearby. There are so many, and I expect they are all better than what I experienced at the easyHotel London Paddington.


What an absolute joke. The owners of this place should be appalled and ashamed.

Pros:

The property is convenient to Paddington station and there are plenty of places to eat.

Cons:

The property is convenient but the rooms are super small. There is very little room for suitcases. As two people sleeping in one room it was difficult to move. We had to almost dance around each other.

Muy cómoda, buena relación calidad/precio.
Pros:

No tiene restaurante pero hay una buena maquina de café en la entrada, con barra para desayunar y muchas cafeterías cerca.
Todos los servicios cerca: restaurantes, lavandería, farmacia, correos, supermercados, tiendas mas exclusivas.
Bonita vista y habitación tranquila en la tercera planta.
Muy bien comunicado y con zonas para visitar a pie desde el hotel.

Cons:

Solo había una percha para la ropa.
La WiFi no era muy segura.
La web no funciona para reservar.

Pros:

Convenience of being close to St Mary's Hospital. Staff in hotel were very friendly and interested in me. Nothing was too much trouble and always had time to listen. I had previous stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my brother in hospital. Great to be able to borrow a hairdryer and when the shower curtain came down was fixed by the afternoon.
