Comfortable but sadly disappointing. Some TLC/updating beneficial Breakfast good.
Pros:

Good location with easy parking. Loved the sea view from my room. Staff helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

It feels and looks rather tired now and in need of some updating/TLC…
The lampshade in my room
(10) was marked with stains and the curtains could do with replacing. The towel rail didn’t work which I reported but was not remedied. Not worth the amount I paid sadly….

Good value hotel if you don’t mind the walk uphill back from the beach.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was nice (apart from the bacon). A handy free car park directly opposite. Overall good value for money.

Cons:

Room curtains and lampshades could do with replacing - very dated and curtains were stained. Breakfast was nice but was spoilt by the crunchy bacon that you could snap. We were the only ones in the restaurant in the evening but it took almost half an hour for the starters to arrive (we only had starters). A bit of a half mile trek uphill from the beach to the hotel but we knew this before we booked.

Pros:

Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very responsive with their messages.

I also stupidly forgot my suitcase when checking out, and only realised when I got home 2 hours away. The staff were brilliant, keeping my suitcase safe and taking it to a post office for next day delivery. And generally being very nice!

Cons:

Nothing, everything was great!

Perfect overnight stay
Pros:

Very affordable small hotel at the top of the Main Street in Lyme Regis. Comfortable, clean, excellent breakfast and the friendliest staff you will ever meet!

Cons:

I had an attic room which meant I had to carry my old dog up the stairs but I hadn’t warned them he was so ancient!!!

Hotel in a great location with its own car park which is really important in Lyme. Our room was lovely, warm comfortable and spotlessly clean.
