We arrived after a long journey feeling peckish & tired. We were able to get delicious scones & coffee in the bar. The staff were very helpful. Dinner in the restaurant that evening was very good.
Our only small issue was the TV in the room wasn't receiving a signal, but this didn't worry us at all. I mentioned it when we left so it could be resolved before the next visitors arrived.

The breakfast was good with fresh fruit salad and a good choice of main breakfasts.
Our room was beautifully furnished but a bit cramped. We realise we will.have to choose an accessable room next time on the ground floor. We found the stairs were just a bit much for us now !
Good size room and very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We were staying for two nights while visiting relatives in the area, who joined us for dinner on the first night. We were loved after very well.
Waitress at dinner appeared to be new and didn't fully know the menu. But she was very pleasant.

Ventilators had been foreseen in the rooms, as it was exceptionally hot weather.

Prima hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Geweldig ontbijt wat je bestelt en dan vers wordt bereid. Goed restaurant en gezellig pub in heel rustige omgeving
Er is geen airco op de kamer, alleen op de gang. Als het warm is wordt de kamer best warm. Kamers hebben dan wel een ventilator

Coffee in rooms was lovely.
The breakfast was delicious.
Would have preferred fresh milk in the bedroom. Personally, I'm not a fan of long life .
However, I'm sure if I'd have asked at the bar, they would have got me some.
Perfect stopover from Edinburgh to London or Suffolk. Staff super friendly. Great food and drink choices.
