Lovely clean room, friendly staff and extremely dog friendly.
The hotel provided a bowl and a goody bag for the dog and offered a sausage for the dog at dinner and breakfast.

A cosy bar area with real fire, well used it seemed by locals. Restaurant option on site and separate breakfast room. Food was very good and we considered very reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful.
Breakfast was fantastically good, evening meal also really excellent. The room was fine, no real complaints. Really nice pub atmosphere midweek in early March. I would go back, absolutely. Next time I am in the vicinity I will be staying here.

I had a lovely stay at The Finch Hatton Arms - the room was clean, tidy and had a comfortable bed. The bar area had a lovely atmosphere which was where I sat and ate dinner. I was working on my laptop and staff were very accommodating! I ate the rump steak, fries and peppercorn sauce and it was fantastic - would highly recommed! All customers in the bar were friendly and chatty, definitely felt like a home-away-from-home.

workman in the loft space above the room hammering ,etc on arrival for 90 minutes until we spoke to staff. builders on site intererrupted the ambience of the premises and location.
