Staff. Parking breakfast
The location was convenient for what we needed and close to some lovely pubs and local shops. Plenty of parking once all the lunchtime guests using the restaurant had left. The room was adequately furnished but was quite small and therefore very hot. A fan had been privided though which did help. The reception staff were very helpful.
We didn't expect much as we saw it as a conference hotel but we still found it rather basic and a bit tired. We had to refit the table light shades as they were loose and leaning against the bulbs. Also there was a green light which was an integral part of the ceiling light fitting and which remained on all the time. This made it very difficult to sleep, particularly when it was also so hot. We didn't use any of the hotel facilities as the bar closes at 8pm on a Sunday evening and they only serve breakfast and lunch on Sundays. Luckily there are plenty of other venues locally.
