Room had a very bright green emergency light that made it difficult to sleep. Internet connectivity in the room was extremely poor and no TV signal.

Staff are very friendly and call me by my name which is always nice.

Cons:

There is a leak in the downstairs corridor near the spa been there a while so needs repairing asap.

Pros:

staff were friendly location was good parking was good room was up to standard

Cons:

hotel felt a bit jaded and old fashioned shower was only just ok gym facility had lots of old equipment and had a chaotic layout 3 out of the 4 treadmills did not work the gym assistant got one working and was very helpful but should not have had to do this. There was a leak in top half of gym with a bucket under it. main restaurant was not open and food was pub grub - perfectly acceptable for me but maybe not for everyone?

You get what you pay for
Pros:

My mum lives in Basingstoke and I’m in West Sussex . She currently needs more support so I’m visiting once or twice a week. If twice then o stay overnight. The hotel isn’t far and it’s cheap . There’s breakfast available which is edible though like warm but you get what you pay for.

Cons:

The first time I had a lovely room on the ground floor. This week I was on the second floor. This room was older and needed some TLC. Breakfast is edible but the all English was like warm

Hit and miss of what you’ve got
Pros:

The property looks okay from outside. I’ve stayed in this hotel before that and the different ownership quality has gone downhill.

Cons:

The size of my room was okay the bathroom had no towel rails Only one towel rail which she could put your hand towel in The major problem with the room was when you close the curtains, they closed on top of the vent of the Fire which says do not cover I did report it to reception as it was a fire risk. The food in the restaurant bar was hit and miss breakfast was always cold when served from the buffet. The first two days, the toast that had plastic melted on it and not been cleaned off even on the second day it was on the Third day

Get what you pay for
Pros:

Good location for my needs. Staff are very attentive and helpful.

Cons:

Hotel is adequate apart from the spa part ( rude and couldn't be bothered like he really didn't want to be there). Cigarette smoke filling the corridors. Not enough pillows on the bed ( 1 is not enough and very thin )
