Staff were very helpful when we explained we’d arrived from another hotel which was awful and had quickly rebooked at 10pm. Room was clean, fan provided. Bar area lovely and comfy.
Noise!! Sorry but it was so hot we had to have the windows open, we were woken early one day by traffic and internal door slamming-fire doors need a simple adjustment to make them close slowly and gently, on the second day woken by music playing from kitchens below. Drinks very expensive and be nice to have a better range of wine.
Location.
Was given a windowless room, no air-conditioning, only offered a fan, however when we arrived they were experiencing power cuts so the only lighting we had was from the illuminated fire escape sign and unable to use the fan during this time. We arrived and were waiting around in reception as we were told they were waiting to hear from housekeeping if the room was clean, we were then only told about the situation with the electricity and boiling hot uncomfortable room. We checked out after an hour because it was impossible to relax and enjoy our stay with the temperatures in the room.
Good clean and value for money
Had a really bad night as there were a gang of rowdy drunks banging on doors and swearing at each other from 11 till 1 o’clock in the morning couldn’t complain because there was no phone in the room and they were aggressive complained in the morning and was told someone else had complained and that they had banned them it ruined what was a good stay

Bed, super noisy. But the room in general was nice and clean
The staff were very friendly, and the grounds were stunning, lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy outside.
The swimming pool was out of action, which is part of the reason I booked there. The queuing for the bar was outrageous! 25 mins to get a drink and then my glass had lipstick stains on it.
No air-con and it was super stuffy.

Good location, parking available. Restaurant and bar on site.
Worst hotel room I have been given for some time. It had no windows or air conditioning. The room smelt like smoke inside. Room was noisy woken often throughout the night. I had a very poor nights rest.
Room was clean apart from the smokey smell. This was my second stay at this hotel, the first wasn’t great but at least I had a window.
Will avoid in the future.
