Staff.Food.good....but no thought given to what customer s who were not there from tourist coaches
The hotel is totally geared towards satisfying tourist coaches..Very little thought given to other customers requirements.
Staff very helpful and friendly good food had beverage rooms clean and tidy
Bit hot in rooms but fans provided
Comfortable rooms
Inconvenient that hotel does not open restaurant on Sunday evening.
The location was good as we were attending a party nearby.
Surly staff at reception declined to accommodate our early check in request. No rooms were ready despite the hotel being half empty. Unhelpful attitude gave a poor first impression.
No food service on Sunday evening and only one member of staff available at the bar.
Internal decor in poor repair, hand dryer not working in the Gents.
Breakfast was overpriced and extremely poor quality. No sausages, no fruit, overcooked bacon. Again staff levels were minimal although plates were cleared at rapid speed.
Would not return.
No breakfast taken
Main room ok but bathroom needs attention room 117.
Dinner on 23.6 was practically Inedible. Wilted salad starter, hot food been in trays too long, congealed and unrecognisable. Empty veg tray Broccoli! Broccoli cheese bake was inedible. Pudding 1 choice hot apple sponge and the worst custard I've ever seen. Water floating on the top and lumps underneath. No amount of stirring helped! No one to speak to about it. All this in over 30 degrees heat.
Reported Broken shower, freezing cold water on morning of 24.6.26 No resolution to the shower on 25.6.26 and no contact made to explain why.
Our stay of 2 nights offered x2 tea bags.
This was our 2nd stay. Cant believe how much it had changed!
Pool not available, contaminated incident blamed.
The exterior of the hotel looks good.
Beds are so old the springs created backpain, the floorboards creaked all the time.
The plumbing was bad leaks from taps.
Staff members were not trained to deal with elderly or disabled..
Reception staff had to double up as bartenders. Eventhough I was informed that they were fully booked.
No management on site as Staff texting whilst dealing with customers.
Layout is vast with no clear layout posted on walls or map locations.
High quality rooms, friendly staff
Good location - good check in - fantastic breakfast - large room - great fans were available in the very hot weather. Pity pool wasn’t open.
Nothing we didn’t like
Really nice location, really clean and nice big rooms
No aircon, a fan was provided but it was a struggle on the 2nd floor
Nice
Nothing
Restaurant closed in the evening and not much options from bar menu, breakfast hot food was dry from sitting under the lights and no fried eggs when I went in. Used the toilet in my room and found I had no toilet paper so had to use the hand tissues. Room 206 having 1 fan had no effect at all, only felt it if I stood up close to it to feel any eid.
Comfortably
Nothing
Very nice lounge areas, had a superb meal. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Outside areas were nice, just needed some tlc in the gardens.
Nice walks very close by, suitable for our dog.
We would book here again, but would make sure everything was completely in order before we committed to it.
Unfortunately the a/c system had broken down in the bedrooms. We did receive a message from the hotel a few days before so we could have cancelled, but decided to go ahead as they said there were fans in the rooms. The fans worked very hard but it was almost unbearably hot in the bedroom which was on the top floor, and we had our dog with us so it was extra pressure to keep her cool as well
Also the swimming pool was closed for urgent repairs, which was the reason why I decided to book this hotel in the first place.
It was cheap for a hotel. The reception staff were polite and friendly. Bottled water in the room.
Bed was two singles pushed together so you had a dip/ridge in the middle. The towel rail in the bathroom had been disconnected from the power. There was no air conditioning.
