The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice.
Choosing the night before meant service was very quick, which is great when you have a time schedule.
Mooie lokatie in de Dales en het ontbijt was prima. Dit moet je wel de avond daarvoor op een keuzeformulier doorgeven.
Je gaat terug in de tijd naar de jaren 60/70 qua kamer en sanitair. Je hebt het idee dat je weer bij een oud familielid aan het logeren bent, in een krappe kamer en die niets aan de inrichting gemoderniseerd/verbeterd heeft in al die jaren. Zo ruikt het ook. Geen mogelijkheid of plaats waar je 2 koffers kan laten. De badkamer was ooit modern in de jaren 70. Het ziet er eigenlijk allemaal versleten/matig onderhouden en niet al te schoon uit. Wat niet nodig is ook al is het een 'oude' pub. Prijs kwaliteit £290 voor 2 nachten met ontbijt staat niet in verhouding. Erg jammer voor wat het kan zijn in zo'n mooie omgeving.
This is a "pub with rooms" rather than a full hotel. The downstairs pub was great - beer, food and atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff were friendly & helpful. Parking almost outside was free.
Access to the rooms up[stairs was via a narrow staircase and narrow corridors. THe room itself and bathroom were very small and there was barely any space to put anything down.
Beim Frühstück war ein Mann, der ausserordenlich freundlich und mit viel Humor am Arbeiten war. Zentrale Lage. Netter Pub.
In unserem Zimmer sehr kurze Betten. Kopfteile waren derbe am Klappern. Die Zimmer haben einen Renovierungsstau. Toilettenbrille scharfkantig ubd führte zu Verletzungen. Ein vernünftiger Schrank fehlt und das Frühstück war sehr einseitig.

Zentral gelegen, Pub im Haus, guter Ausgangspunkt in die Dales.
Bis auf eine männliche Person, die das Frühstück brachte, recht unpersönlich. Reichlich Renovierungsstau. Kurze Betten mit klapernden Kopfkeil. Wasserdruck mau. Verletzungsgefahr durch billige Wc- Deckel.

Nothing, everything was good
The Breakfast is a preorder one. However do not be put off by that. We were half an hour early for our breakfast
And seen to straight away. Very nice it was.
It’s unfortunate that it is lacking Disability facilities. It is an old building and the proprietors are limited with space.

Excellent breakfast and view from room - location also couldn't be better. Surprising quite as the pub was down stairs and there was music on. Room lovely and clean.
Clean room
Perfect for the location - right in the middle of the High Street. Just stopped for one night - bed and shower was all we needed with the dog. Breakfast was excellent too.
Just needs a little modernising in places but I guess most guests are walkers and don't really care as long as they get a good sleep, shower and breakfast!

Het ontbijt en de bediening bij het ontbijt was goed
De kamer had 2 kleine ramen met glas waardoor je niet naar buiten kon kijken.
We hadden een kamer geboekt met 1 bed, maar kregen 2 aparte bedden.
De bedden waren te hard.
Niet ingesteld op langere mensen. Te lage en te kleine wastafel. Rondom de trap veel te smal en te laag dus hoofd stoten.
The staff was lovely but unfortunately paying £145.00 for a tiny room and a cold shower was disappointing

Friendly staff, excellent food, perfect location, very little noise heard from other residents moving about.
