The breakfast set you up for the day and meal in the bar at night was excellent
Location central in the village, a cosy pub with rooms above and large dining area to back room.
Easy check in. Key pad on room locks, so no keys required. Good secure parking to rear.
Comfortable rooms and bed, good shower, TV,
opening windows with child safety catch. Plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits, towels and bedding good hotel quality.
Not a lot to not like really, little things only like,
Sliding bathroom door kept opening up on its own,
No fridge in room and no shelf in bathroom (room 12)
Location in the town centre with limited private parking

In a good place on main road in center of Hawes.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Room had all the usual things you might need.
Good selection of breakfast choices ( cereal/toast/fry up).
Needs updating/refreshing. Carpet in dining room especially and needs clean / recover dining room walls. Bathroom floor soft and wobbly. Mattress needs replacing. Room smelt of stale cigarette smoke and alcohol ( not unusual for an old pub hotel).
Parked on main road - they have a few spaces nearby but needs to be small car.
Very comfortable room with all facilities needed. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea, coffee and biscuits. TV. Very well situated in the middle of the town within easy reach of pubs, shops, museum and Wensleydale Creamery. Lots of storage space. W
The room wasn't overly large but it was adequate. Comfy bed. Lots of walks from Hawes and things to do in the town so we never moved the car until we left.
The only downside was the bathroom did not have a radiator so was extremely cold and it was difficult to dry the towels.
Also needed to order breakfast the night before which doesn't suit everyone.
Centre of town
Breakfast room carpet was filthy.
Warm and friendly staff welcome, a clean and comfortable room. Great cooked breakfast. Generous tea, coffee, chocolate facilities.
We would have liked better toiletries in the bathroom.

Good breakfast but would have liked fruit and yoghurt too
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, my packed lunch was great and so was my evening meal, top food and well presented. Chicken in Cider with crushed potatoes was lovely. So was the unusual dessert of battered wensleydale and cake balls with vanilla ice cream.
