Great bfast
Room was clean and tidy. Location was excellent for our cycling trip. Breakfast was fine for our needs.
Decor and furniture could do with a refresh and an update.
The hotel was a great location and we was able to park, the staff were really nice it was a lovely stay
The breakfast and the evening meal that I had in the bar was excellent. There is a lovely 1.5 mile walk to Hawdraw falls/ the historic Green Dragon pub (it was the inside of the Drovers on Ch5's All Creatures Great & Small). Well worth booking to see the Red Squirrels (a short drive nearby) at the Hawes Visitor Centre. The room was very comfortable.
Would recommend
Friendly staff. Good food and location
Great check in. Room very clean. Great breakfast.
Couldn't work the shower very well.
Excellent staff who made our stay highly enjoyable. Very comfortable rooms and also excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Staff at reception for checking in and out, plus queries and serving were great. Well organised. Also v.responsive to queries before arrival. No problems. Twin room was spacious with a great view over the Dale. Was pretty quiet and restful. Good tea making facilities and full info. Breakfast was fab too.
Couldn't find the remote for the A/C but didnt ask as we had a fan. The shower was let down a bit by water pressure issue,
Great location and breakfast, very clean
Bed had big dip in the middle - not so comfortable
Location, comfort, food, staff and cleanliness.
Both in our 70,s and put on top floor.
Location
This hotel is very centrally located in the village of Hawes, so if Hawes is your destination it is perfect. However the rooms are very small, we had no hanging space in the room, a fan was provided as we were in the midst of a heatwave which was very welcome, otherwise the room would have been far too hot. The toiletries provided seemed fairly low budget.
The breakfast was good and tasty, quality ingredients in the full English. The staff didn’t ooze the Yorkshire warmth and hospitality that I grew up with, no smalltalk over breakfast, just delivered to our table. Reception was relatively efficient. This hotel was reasonably OK for a night’s stopover, as we did, but I wouldn’t like to stay there for longer.
The rooms looked in need of an update or refurbishment. I was expecting a little more luxury for the price paid. I didn’t like the bedding, the pillowcases were not cotton and made my head feel hot and sweaty overnight.
Excellent location right in the middle of Hawes, I stayed here on my own during the Pennine way. Despite myself turning up wet and a bit muddy, the staff were very welcoming. The single room is the best I stayed in during my trip, and offers exceptional value for money. It's very well equipped, spacious, and comfortable, with generous extras like hot chocolate and a coffee pod machine. The breakfast was also the best of my trip, allowing me to pre-order the items I wanted the night before and having it all ready when I went to the dedicated breakfast room was lovely, and the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Very happy with my stay here!
I had planned on eating dinner here, but it was not being offered on the day due to short staff. I was notified ahead of time, and was able to get food elsewhere
Utmärkt även om förhandsbokningen blev lite omständlig
Det borde vara ett val med repeterande frukost när man bor flera nätter
