Pros:

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shower was amazing. The location in the town was perfect for all the shops bars and restaurants. We would definitely rebook when we come back to Stamford

Good location to the town quite clean and the food was nice, but you let it down with builders about
Pros:

Food was good both mornings but last day had to use the bar area which was noisy. Lots of works going on with builders in and out . Service was much slower and not as good as first day .

Cons:

The room was very noisy . Banding above and we was over looked by another building which could see right though our room so we had to close the cushion on even in the day time .
Would have been nice to tell us before hand they had works going on whiles we was there .
We booked thought booking.com but was told we could have booked with them direct snd it would have been cheaper and the price we paid would have been a better room .
We was on the understanding that booking .com is normally the best rate .

Pros:

The location of the hotel is ideal for the town itself, and convenient for local attractions. Great options for breakfast, and good facilities in the bedrooms, which were very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

As we had mobility issues, the lack of a lift was a little inconvenient. Although the staff were exceptionally helpful in carrying luggage and storing walking aids, more ground floor rooms (or a lift) would have made things easier!

Great room, location couldn’t be better
Pros:

Beautiful room separate from the main gilding with its own private entrance. Very clean and comfortable

Cons:

Could’ve done with a fan. The room was very hot (can’t really blame the weather), but not able to open the window as it was at ground floor level directly onto the street. Sash window bolts would also work, allowing partial opening of the window.
