Pros:

We love this hotel.. and always stay here when visiting Stamford.
Central location, comfortable rooms, great staff.. and the breakfast and evening menu is fabulous.
Cannot fault this hotel.

really nice rooms. full of character and a great location.
great breakfast too. great choices.

Cons:

took me an age to work the shower!
Also the room was very hot and we only figured out how to open the window in the morning.

Perfect in miserable January. Really had a great time

Room was very clean nice toiletries and well appointed. Lovely vibe in the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with local produce. Staff were very welcoming, would totally recommend

Adequate but overpriced for overall hospitality.
Pros:

Location was excellent.
Breakfast was pleasant.
Receptionist and waiting staff helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Room was a little dated and the quilt was very poor quality- lumpy in places and no filling in others.
The night porter was unhelpful regarding a takeaway breakfast that had been organised- I later found that this breakfast had been ready and waiting in the kitchen but he hadn’t gone to check.

Totally taken care of - no worries.
Pros:

Staffing was absolutely superb - really lovely, helpful people. Rooms were brilliant and location with parking was brilliant.

The location, breakfast and and staff were good but the room was too small for two people.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was good

Cons:

The townhouse room was very small for 2 people. There was not enough space. The double bed took up most of the room so there was nowhere to sit and relax. Because of this we spent more time away from the venue and therefore spent more money in cafés etc
