A beautiful Inn with friendly helpful staff, gorgeous flowers and comfortable pretty seating areas.
A bit hot and a little bit noisy- but only a little and probably because we had to get up early
Staff were the Unique Selling Point, they made the stay memorable. Very nice place to visit.
Left phone in the room and it was waiting for us at reception when we returned.
Very little really, it was what it is, an old world country inn, long may it stay like that.
The food presentation was fantastic but the quality was just OK, The actual Burger was the weak point of the Burger offering. Defiantly a frozen pork burger not a Beef burger ( which probably would have been easier to make). Cod goujons the same. Frozen fancy fish fingers.
But the whole experience was worth the price. ( Again, friendly staff made up for any short comings)
Perfect location, we had a triple room which was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value and highly recommended. Thank you.
Staff were lovely, room comfortable.
We felt the room could do with a bit of a makeover to make it more desirable.
Some fixtures and fittings needed better maintenance
Stopped with the team after a long cycle, staff were friendly and accommodating, service was smooth, great food and drink, bed was comfortable, shower good size, would recommend if staying in the area
Nothing
The place made you feel welcome and homely
Central friendly staff and comfy beds
We didn’t have light in the bathroom was to late when we got back to let anybody know
The ‘cabin’ was cute and very simple . Staff greeted us well and gave us information about keys and checking out etc. staff communicated well .
Bathroom light was not working , did not notice that until the morning .
Very relaxing

Central location. Restaurant
It was clean and in central location
I was in the "Cabin" room which was horrid:-
Oppressive timber cladding with rusty screw showing was was very poorly installed.
There was not a comfortable chair to sit on.
The mattresses were so cheap they offered no support, and now I have a stiff back.
The lighting was very poor
The was the end of a screw sticking out of a unit which I caught my foot on.
The Radiator cover was broken and the top badly bowed.
The internet wouldn't connect because the connection was insecure.
The shower door was broken.
The maceraters where noisey.
We could hear everything that was going on in the building.
I realise the building is 200 years old so can understand the floor and staircase being quirky, but no excuse for the points above.
We ordered a twin room, and when I went to bed on Friday night I found that there was no duvet, just a dog type thin blanket. (A nice member of staff gave me one for the following night)
