It was the ideal hotel for a few days revisiting Oxford.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the staff very friendly. We only had the continental breakfast which was good but a cooked breakfast was offered.

We were very pleased to have chosen this hotel, it added to our experience of visiting Oxford.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our holiday, it allowed us to be close to the areas we wished to visit. The room was cosy and the staff/service was excellent. Perfect for admirers of vintage hotels.

Pros:

Room was comfortable and quiet

Cons:

Breakfast was poor. Piece of bread or a blank croissant. I ended up going out for a proper breakfast. They shouldn't say they provide a breakfast because they don't unless you want to order ala carte ahead of time..

Simply lovely
Pros:

Walking distance from the campus, lovely and vintage hotel, quiet and cozy, rooms fully equipped, staff super available and always supportive, nice continental breakfast, adjacent Turf tavern is a must-visit for dinner

Interesting hotel staff in Oxford
Pros:

Location, close to town centre 17 century building. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Our accommodation was on the top floor,the stairs were difficult to climb ,very narrow and like a turret. The bed was comfortable. There was no hanging space for clothes only two small draws. The bathroom only had a bath which was very worn with a hand held shower 🚿 . No area to park only on double yellow lines, to drop off luggage. Not suitable if you have mobility issues. Car parking is additional charge with only three spaces available further down the street.£30 per night

A happy stay
Pros:

The breakfast was a continental breakfast with toast. The hotel is in a dinky little corner of Oxford which is actually quite handy for the shops

Cons:

Room maintenance could be improved. The shaver socket was unusable and the bath taps needed labelling
