Lovely room. Best bathroom so far in Georgia. Nice breakfast. Lovely service at the restaurant
The staff were not very engaging. There was no explanation or introduction to the services or activities or where breakfast or meals were served, until we asked all of those questions. Breakfast ladies were lovely. No vibe or atmosphere at the bar, although the restaurant was better. Beer was ordinary. Did not make you feel like hanging around enjoying a beer. Very rude man on checking out. No thank you or goodbye and ignored us when we said those things, despite excellent English.

Best hotel I stayed in Georgia. A little outside of town, with beautiful surrounding and the ranch. With a bar and their local beers. They even let me check out a bit later, as I was going riding in the morning. Very comfortable room, which was very beautiful.

we found a lot of bugs in one oart of our room, we cleaned them out in a few minutes upon arrival as all of them were on the windows, the cleaning staff could have done this too before we entered the room. it is located in nature so presence of bugs is not unusual, but a bit more attention to keeping them out of the room would have been good

Breakfast: indeed the star of the show - many dishes, with ingredients prepared on site with local supplies very tasty and the variety is quite high - struggled both days to finish everything.
The overall place - cosy, retreat like feeling, with lounges and chairs in the garden, even with one of the local bread making ovens. The beer they serve in the lounge is great - feels very fresh and it has quite a great selection. Prices are close to London level just fyi - not a drawback just a fact.
Finally the place is a short 10 mins drive to town, if you have car no issue, if you don't, local taxi is available but you have to pay roughly 15 GEL one way
Side note: there's a shortcut from the place to the Bodbe Monastery through the forest which makes it only 5 mins away.
Context: We booked the double room for 2 nights roughly 2.5 months earlier and were given the budget double room. This room (room 1 and 2) is downstairs next to where the reception, check in/out, bar/kitchen and breakfast happen. The room was small could barely open the luggage in the room. The balcony spacious but it smelled like sewage outside so we didn't use it. Also it's the season so it was full of bugs. Being so close to the breakfast area you hear everything. They start preparing the breakfast at 7:30am and you could hear the cutlery and plates. Don't think they do it in purpose but the proximity makes it that.
The service: while we explain when we arrived that we'd prefer to get the room we booked the lady at check in seemed confused and said they are fully booked and there's nothing we can do. When we showed the booking page she seemed even more confused and asked to take pics of the booking page. She mentioned she'll try to get us something for 2nd night. After that exchange she never once mentioned anything related to the room across 2 days. We assume she didn't want the hassle therefore pretended it didn't happen. It was more convenient this way.
All in all the place is great and has potential but they can work on the service a bit.
Exceptionally friendly helpful staff. Came to our rescue when we were in a bit of a bind. The breakfasts are remarkable. The restaurant is interesting and good. We enjoyed the local wines and the craft beer produced at the Inn.
