North Kazbegi

De host was ontzettend vriendelijk. Hoewel we laat op de avond aankwamen, verwelkomde hij ons warm met een glaasje Georgische wijn en een goed gesprek. Ook wist hij ons een goede plek in de buurt aan te raden waar we onze lekke band konden laten repareren, want de route naar Kazbegi is 'not for the weak' ;). De locatie is goed. Vanaf de accommodatie was het ongeveer 5 kilometer lopen naar de Gergeti Trinity Church, een waanzinnig uitkijkpunt over Kazbegi en Gergeti, met aan alle kanten (besneeuwde) bergtoppen. Maar als je geen zin hebt om zo ver te lopen, is het uitzicht van het balkon ook goed :p De bedden en badkamer waren goed.

Great little guesthouse with good location, I would definitely stay here again! The best part was the view from my room, just breathtaking. I was welcomed by the host and felt right at home. The host and his mother are very friendly people. My room was super comfortable and cute, bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure, and the balcony was amazing. There's a cozy living room where you can meet other travellers and a well-equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Wifi works well and I was able to get some work done on my laptop. I was here during off-season (end of March) and really enjoyed my stay. Even during colder months there are some hikes nearby that you can do. :)

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, czysto, przemili i pomocni gospodarze, którzy nawet częstowali domowym obiadem.

My stay at North Kazbegi was truly exceptional. Everything about this place is wonderful. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, warm and cosy. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking, with an incredible panorama of the mountains.

But what made this stay truly special was Gocha and his mother. They are incredibly kind, welcoming and generous people. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home. Their hospitality is genuine and heartfelt, and it made my experience in Kazbegi unforgettable.

I have stayed in many places during my travels, but this guesthouse is one of the most special. If you come to Kazbegi, this is the place to stay..

I had a wonderful stay here. The views are absolutely stunning – I spent most of my time just resting on the balcony, looking out at the mountains. It was perfect for a solo traveler who simply wanted peace and quiet. The host was very hospitable and kind, and even brought me khinkali, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I definitely recommend North Kazbegi 👍

The owner is EXTRA-HELPFUL, knowledgeable about the area and kind.

We spent one night here. After checking.out in the morning, we tried to go up to Gergeti church and unfortunately had to give up because of the heavy snow and ice.
I did not want to throw in the towel just like that as my mum would have never again had a chance to come here, so I texted him asking whether he could drive us there or knew someone else willing to and in ONE SINGLE MINUTE, he was in front of the BnB with his car. Driving up proved to be tricky for him too, but he did it and my mum and I have had an experience we will forever cherish in our hearts.
