Location was central

Cons:

The room design at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. The room is literally built around the elevator shaft, which means the mechanical noise and vibrations from the lift are constantly audible throughout the entire night. Every movement of the elevator reverberates through the walls and creates nonstop disturbance. I barely slept and experienced serious stress and insomnia because of it. Designing guest rooms this way is completely irresponsible and feels unscrupulous.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the response from reception. Instead of acknowledging the issue properly, all they said was, “next time indicate you want a room away from the lift.” That completely misses the point. I have no problem staying near a lift — but this room was practically INSIDE the lift system itself. Guests should not be expected to anticipate such a terrible room design in advance.

The location also turned out to be a double-edged sword. While it is centrally located, the soundproofing is extremely poor. Throughout the night you can clearly hear barking dogs, car alarms, traffic noise, and people talking outside. Combined with the elevator noise, the room became unbearable.

I am extremely disappointed with this stay.

Great location. Nice room and breakfast

Cons:

Noisy. Corridors inside are very echoey and noise comes through the door. One room had broken lock, staff trying to fix it between 10.30-11.30 had to be told 3 times to be more quiet but this didn’t stop them laughing and joking keeping us awake.

Pros:

Stylish hotel. Rooms are great. Breakfast was excellent. Staff is helpful and friendly. Super well located.

Cons:

We couldn’t open the windows on the king suite.

An elegant boutique hotel in a great location. I highly recommend it.
Pros:

The location was perfect for me, since I was taking tours that departed from the nearby square. The reception staff is very welcoming, the restaurant servers helpful and attentive, and the breakfast had a good variety of healthy choices. I was very happy with my room.

Cons:

The only improvement I can suggest is a comfortable armchair in the rooms for reading.
