Pros:

The location

Cons:

It was too noisy because, the walls are paper thin, too cold because everything was open when we arrived and the staff were answering personal phone calls while making our bed.

Good host and location, but the room and hotel condition need major improvement
Pros:

On the positive side, Zaira was a very friendly and welcoming host, and the location is excellent. Those were definitely the best parts of the stay.

Cons:

The biggest problem with our stay was the condition of the room, especially the bed and the persistent moisture/mold smell.

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were also very large, and there was a noticeable smell of moisture and what appeared to be mold throughout the room, including around the bedding and pillows. I also experienced itching on my back while sleeping there, and even after leaving I noticed several marks on my back. I cannot say for certain what caused them, but the moisture and condition of the bed were concerning. If you have back problems, I would not recommend this bed, as it was one of the biggest issues during our stay.

There were also several maintenance problems. The bathroom door handle was broken and the door would not close properly. The shower head was old and leaking, but the biggest bathroom problem was the water temperature. During almost every shower, the water would suddenly go from warm to completely cold, sometimes taking several minutes to become warm again. This happened three or four times during a shower, making it very difficult to have a normal shower.

Cleanliness was acceptable, but not particularly good. The hotel as a whole also clearly needs renovation and better maintenance.


Another issue is the construction attached to the building. The construction noise means you cannot realistically sleep late in the morning or sleep during lunchtime. This was quite disruptive, especially if you are expecting to be able to rest during the day.

Accessibility is another thing to consider. The rooms are only accessible by a narrow spiral staircase, with no elevator, normal staircase, or alternative entrance. We had to use it every day, and carrying a 20 kg suitcase up and down the stairs on arrival and departure was very difficult. This is worth knowing before booking, particularly if you have mobility or back problems or are travelling with heavy luggage.

Pros:

オーナーはとても親切でした。相談にはなんでも乗ってくれます。英語もOKです。ただし、宿代は現金です。幸い、両替所は目と鼻の先です。

Cons:

Not very accesible, had to bring my luggage though a narrow rotating staircase. Kind of expensive. My friends in another room couldnt go to their room because it had been damaged, they were sent to literally someone else’s house which was not nice and were still charged quite a lot.
