Place is absolutely beautiful, host is very helpful and everyone is always ready to help. We booked economy but got free room upgrade.
First of all, it appeared that the car rented by us showed fuel level incorrectly, and we ran out it 20km prior reaching Mestia. We phoned the hotel with our problem - and they came to rescue us bringing 20 liters canister of petrol!
We also travelled with our dog and had no issues staying with her in the hotel.
Then, we really enjoyed the fire place with swing chairs surrounding it. It was a really pleasant experience talking to friends in the evening and at night, in front of the fire.
So, I'd really prefer to stay here next time I visit Svaneti.

Ein schöner Blick über Mestia und ein fantastisches Frühstück durften wir genießen. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer etwas klein zu dritt, aber sauber.
Leider scheint es öfter vorzukommen, dass es Probleme mit der Überweisung der Übernachtungskosten von Expedia an das Hotel gibt. So sollten wir das Zimmer bezahlen, obwohl wir bereits alles an Expedia gezahlt hatten. Nachdem wir mit dem Buchungsbeleg unserer Bank beweisen konnten, dass wir bereits bezahlt haben, haben wir unser Zimmer beziehen können. Der Mann am Empfang war stets freundlich dabei und tat mir etwas Leid. Ich hoffe er hat inzwischen die Zahlung von Expedia erhalten!
Perfect stuff, everyone is polite and friendly, excellent cleanness in the room, delicious breakfasts, large veranda where you can spend the evening. Great location, you can walk to the center with many restaurants and shops. The room has a great desk to work at, the internet speed may not be fast enough
