Beautiful Beach with nice Waves.

The serenity of the beach
A very nice serene environment away from everyone and every noise. The staff were nice and welcoming and ready to assist any time and any day. Their chef was extremely nice and their food is more than 100%. Despite the distance and the bad road they have a good comfortable car for pick up
It's quiet far and the road leading to the place not so good
Beautiful Place right next to the ocean, very remote and calm. Staff is exceptional and tries to help in any way possible! Beach was pretty clean and the apartments are basic but nice with an awesome view
Be prepared to be surrounded by animals (dogs/cats) - wasn’t a big problem for us but we needed to get used to it a little
The location is great... it surprised me, the breathtaking view of the beach.
The staff was friendly, polite, and generous. I had a nice breakfast and had a good time!
Improvements could be made to the bedding, and hot water is obviously necessary.
Fantastic beach hut on the Western side of Ghana. This family run business is a great location for those wanting to explore Ghana's Western beaches and culture, such as Butre village or go surfing on Busua Beach. There's plenty of hidden treasures to explore in this region, and if you ask the staff they are more than willing to take you on a tour or a boat ride around the local community.
Wifi connection was quite weak in my room so I mainly used the internet or made calls near the bar/restaurant.
the immediate contact with nature and the kindness of the staff

Beautiful, serene location, friendly and attentive staff, and fantastic food (Ghanaian and some fusion dishes) at reasonable prices. The Ghanaian-owned beachfront resort is off the beaten path (quite literally :)), absolutely worth the journey, and perfect to relax. Spacious rooms without AC - the ceiling fan is absolutely sufficient. Accesible via trotro/motorbike/taxi from Takoradi/Bokro or pick up by owner Francis. We had the best time, thank you all @Afro Beach :)
What a paradise this local family has created there! Located by the sea and under palm trees, the location is unbeatable. Helpful in every way and the cuisine is as excellent as it is well-priced. They get their fish fresh every day from the fishermen next door. The wifi is very reliable by local standards.
Nothing at all
This is a special place. It will always have a place in my heart.
Please use insect repellent and enjoy
Nice place at the beach.. kind of paradise..
but the staff, food, kitchen could be better..paid 100 cedis for 3 shrimps and rice. No vegetables. Good pizza.
Maybe the staff needs a vacation.. it seems so
Also some strange calculating/% when paying with a card
But.. over all its a paradise
The Afro Beach Eco Resort is on a stunning beach walking distance to a fishing village and nearby Busua beach. It is quiet and peaceful, but the staff are always nearby to help. The food was outstanding and the guided hike to Busre and Busua was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Ghana. There are also a few bars along the beach. The resort is a long way from the main road and feels very remote, but once you are at the beach it is a little slice of heaven, just like one of the other reviewers agreed. The rooms are comfortable and although they feel very hot and stuffy when you first get in, the fan is powerful and made sleeping very comfortable.
It wasn't a problem for us, but be prepared for nearly an hour drive from the main road.
This is a stunning peaceful corner to enjoy some days relaxing in front of the sea. I loved my stay there, the room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, and it was very special to wake up looking out at the sea. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ask about the activities they can offer. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
The staff and owners were very welcoming and provided us with lots of options of things we could do in the local area, and further afield.
The food was delicious and always on time.
We loved nature watching in the local area, it is a fantastic spot for bird watching, we had brilliant views of water thick knee right in front of the accommodation, as well as seeing four different species of hornbills close by, and even a glimpse of some monkeys in the nearby mangroves.
I can't think of anything notable that we didn't like, particularly as their card machine arrived on our last day, in perfect time for us to pay our bill.
It's worth bearing in mind that it is a fair trip in a taxi from the main road, but this is not a bad thing, as it makes the stay feel more adventurous.
Work with fisherman
Very quiet
