Some staff members were friendly; & it was clean... but I'm really put off by other amenities not working as they should!
Horrendous experience at Yakam hotel, apart from WIFI connectivity not being stable, to the gym facility not being available, there’s a massive discrepancy between the prices they actually charge and the prices on Bookings.com. Management had the audacity to tell me it relates to the commission that Bookings.com charges, as if I’m incapable of doing basic math. The prices on bookings.com is more than double what the hotel charges, definitely a form of tourist exploitation. Highly unprofessional and totally unethical behavior. Next time I’ll head straight to Kintampo waterfalls rather than wasting good money to receive such terrible service.
Breakfast was good, with a nice omlete and sausage. Location was exactly as advertised. A large parking .
Not easily accessible to my room. Slope of ramp too steep, and needed help to get over steps.
Very warm staff! Good location which made it easy to connect with other places.
Water heater is not provided in the single bedrooms. I think water heater should be available in all the rooms regardless of one's option.
It was a great experience staying there. The hotel staff and the manager Miss Yaa treated me as I was their priority, and I receive the upmost respect. It clean and comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Thank you all working at Yakam.
