Extremely disappointed with our stay
Pros:

On the positive side, the staff was responsive and efficient during check-in.

They assisted us with our temple visit by calling an auto-rickshaw and providing helpful recommendations for prasaad shopping. They also provided prompt room service for our meals and quickly answered any questions we had.

Additionally, the bathroom was clean and the air conditioning functioned well.

Cons:

To begin with, we booked a Family Suite but were instead downgraded and split into two separate rooms (101 and 102).

Despite being in contact prior to arrival regarding a Booking.com payment issue (which was paid upfront a week ago to Booking.com and screenshot shared with hotel), these rooms were completely unprepared for us.

Room 101: The shower knob was broken off, the AC remote was missing, the TV did not function, and featured dirty carpets and doormats.

Room 102: Had a persistent foul odor until checkout, was infested with insects, and featured dirty carpets and doormats.

Breakfast: Breakfast was not provided as expected. And when ordered, breakfast was only served by 11am. Many items on the menu were not available.

Pickup: Hotel staff informed of complimentary pickup from station. However, upon checkout charged for both pickup & drop @ 400/- per trip.

The property requires significant maintenance and fell completely short of what we paid for.

It is good stay for pilgrimage. Has space for car parking. It is good place to stay in Maihar.

Location, it has view to temple and the hill

Cons:

Air conditioning is poor. Wifi is hot spot type and it goes off quick.

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Kasturi Hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Maa Sharda Devi Temple. Rooms were clean and spacious, food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff was very helpful throughout my visit. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Maihar!
