Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful 🫶🏽
Pros:

Exceeded my expectations, the room was beautiful with a nice little veranda. Very clean, smart TV, amazing for relaxation if that’s what you are looking for. Loved the quietness of the property for R & R. The food was sensational and well priced. Pool was gorgeous.
All staff very caring and helpful always addressing you by your name🩷

Comfortable, boring and unimaginative. Staff is great and coconut juice should be inclusive in the breakfast menu.
Pros:

Location, Putu waitress, she was kind and informative speaks very well English. Room was comfortable.

Cons:

Need beach access to the breaking waves. We re all here to surf, going through the restaurant is dangerous. Price of food and beverage is not Bali, I don’t mean street cheap, I mean cheaper than Australia at least.
Coconut juice should be part of breakfast option. It’s harvested from home, why charge 35k rph, Tv access is clunky I needed maintainace to come twice so I never turned it off.
Provide live music or show, so wives are entertained while boys surf.

Pros:

The design and ambiance of this boutique retreat is only outdone by the staff - from the moment we arrived every member of the Umadewi and Koko's restaurant team were friendly, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to exceed guests expectations. This was our second visit and we are already planning to return in May.

Eine Oase der Ruhe mit einer sehr entspannten und angenehmen Atmosphäre

Das Hotel Umadewi Surf & Retreat war ein absolutes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal sowie das sehr gute Frühstück. Ein besonderer Dank gilt dem General Manager, Herrn Supri, der uns stets äußerst hilfsbereit und herzlich begegnet ist und unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.

Die Ruhe im Hotel war hervorragend und der atemberaubende Ausblick auf den Ozean ist einfach unvergesslich. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Make beautiful memories
Pros:

Fantastic place to stay on the point. Check the surf. We were in an ocean beach room which is spacious and very comfortable. We have stayed many times here and with new management, Supri, coming back, this place is really committed to looking after guests. Most notably are the upgraded Sensatia products in the rooms, so happy to see that this visit. All day breakfast is a great idea with multiple choices. The spa is fantastic, have to say the best massage we have had and very ambient. The pool area and grounds are kept beautifully. All staff are very welcoming from front desk staff to gardeners, all take the time to chat. Koko’s restaurant offers a wide variety of Indonesian and western food, all delicious. Within walking distance are other restaurants should you wish to try. There is plenty of exploring to be done in untouched areas close by. There are mosques close by which you will hear at times of worship. The Medewi community are very welcoming. If you want night life, hustle and bustle and shopping, this area is not for you. If you want total relaxation, surfing, exploring villages, untouched beautiful areas and great food, this area is for you.
The area around this place is very rocky with black volcanic sand, and at low tide easy crossing of rivers to take long beach walks.
Supri and his staff are always friendly, courteous and approachable. I cannot fault this place.
