Don’t come here if you need good wifi, otherwise very recommended
Pros:

Location is great, rooms are super nice as well. Food is decently priced and (for medewi) not bad at all.

Cons:

So I texted a couple days before even coming, that I will have an Important Teams Meeting and they confirmed me that the wifi is stable and good enough for that. Once I arrived I test the wifi and it is interrupted every 5 minutes. The only location with wifi good enough for a call was the lobby. I asked again at the reception and they told me they have somebody check it “at the center” and will come back to me before my meeting. They never came back to me and the only option for me was to change the room since only the most expensive rooms have a private router and thus stable connection.

L'emplacement exceptionnel: on peut voir les surfeurs à l'oeuvre toute la journée. Le spectacle est magnifique et la vue splendide. Le café restaurant excellent. Le service tres efficace avec beaucoup d'amabilité et de considération. La situation centrale à Medewi permet de se déplacer à pied sur la plage. J'ai pu participer aux cours de yoga de la prof que j'apprécie particulièrement Niluh (Dailyblissyoga on Instagram) at Aga Living

Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful 🫶🏽
Pros:

Exceeded my expectations, the room was beautiful with a nice little veranda. Very clean, smart TV, amazing for relaxation if that’s what you are looking for. Loved the quietness of the property for R & R. The food was sensational and well priced. Pool was gorgeous.
All staff very caring and helpful always addressing you by your name🩷

Comfortable, boring and unimaginative. Staff is great and coconut juice should be inclusive in the breakfast menu.
Pros:

Location, Putu waitress, she was kind and informative speaks very well English. Room was comfortable.

Cons:

Need beach access to the breaking waves. We re all here to surf, going through the restaurant is dangerous. Price of food and beverage is not Bali, I don’t mean street cheap, I mean cheaper than Australia at least.
Coconut juice should be part of breakfast option. It’s harvested from home, why charge 35k rph, Tv access is clunky I needed maintainace to come twice so I never turned it off.
Provide live music or show, so wives are entertained while boys surf.

Pros:

The design and ambiance of this boutique retreat is only outdone by the staff - from the moment we arrived every member of the Umadewi and Koko's restaurant team were friendly, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to exceed guests expectations. This was our second visit and we are already planning to return in May.

Eine Oase der Ruhe mit einer sehr entspannten und angenehmen Atmosphäre

Das Hotel Umadewi Surf & Retreat war ein absolutes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal sowie das sehr gute Frühstück. Ein besonderer Dank gilt dem General Manager, Herrn Supri, der uns stets äußerst hilfsbereit und herzlich begegnet ist und unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.

Die Ruhe im Hotel war hervorragend und der atemberaubende Ausblick auf den Ozean ist einfach unvergesslich. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
