Für drei Nächte war der Aufenthalt für uns vollkommen in Ordnung. Der traumhafte Strand, die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergä
Pros:

Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Unterstützung in einer gesundheitlich schwierigen Situation: Als ich kurz vor unserem Abflug noch kurzfristig in eine Klinik musste, wurde ich unkompliziert hingefahren und anschließend wieder abgeholt. Das Team hat mich beruhigt und mir das Gefühl gegeben, gut aufgehoben zu sein. Auch die Sorge, ob wir rechtzeitig zu unserem Flug kommen würden, wurde uns genommen. Dieser persönliche Einsatz war wirklich großartig und verdient ein ganz besonderes Lob!

Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch der Strand: wunderschön, riesengroß und mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen. Die hohen Wellen haben uns beim Baden unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht. Im Bereich der Surfschulen ist etwas mehr los, während man auf der rechten Seite des Strandes teilweise kilometerweit laufen kann, ohne einer Menschenseele zu begegnen. Wer einen wunderschönen, weitläufigen Strand liebt, wird hier definitiv glücklich.

Sehr schön fanden wir auch den kleinen Beach-Bereich mit Liegen. Das Personal dort war ausgesprochen lieb, brachte Getränke und sorgte für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Eine Dusche und eine Toilette sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Allerdings ist dieser Bereich für die Größe der Anlage recht klein und verfügt nur über wenige Liegen.

Unser Zimmer war blitzsauber, und bei einem Preis von 47 Euro pro Nacht war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis grundsätzlich gut.

Cons:

Der Bungalow selbst ist sehr klein und eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Besonders enttäuschend war das Badezimmer: Es ist extrem beengt, und nach dem Duschen stand praktisch das gesamte Bad unter Wasser. Ablageflächen für Kosmetik und Badutensilien fehlen ebenso wie vernünftige Staumöglichkeiten im Zimmer. Zu zweit mit zwei Koffern muss man sich daher schon ziemlich gut organisieren.

Dazu kommt eine riesige Küche, deren Platzbedarf in keinem sinnvollen Verhältnis zur Größe des eigentlichen Wohn- und Schlafbereichs steht. Ein Moskitonetz fehlte ebenfalls – etwas, das wir in einem Resort dieser Art durchaus erwartet hätten. Wir hatten zwar Glück und nur wenige Moskitos, dennoch wäre ein solches Netz für uns ein selbstverständlicher Bestandteil der Ausstattung. Eine eigene Terrasse oder ein anderer privater Außenbereich, auf dem man sich gemütlich zurückziehen kann, wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert.

Der Weg zum Strand beträgt etwa 450 Meter. Das ist grundsätzlich keine große Entfernung, allerdings führt er über einen Schotterweg. Gerade wenn man morgens mit seinem Kaffee zum Strand möchte, ist das nicht besonders angenehm. Auch der Bereich rund um die Bungalows wirkte bei unserem Aufenthalt wenig einladend und teilweise ungepflegt, mit herumliegendem Baumabfall. Man hat eher das Gefühl, etwas abseits der eigentlichen Anlage untergebracht zu sein, als wirklich zum Resort dazuzugehören.

Auch den Beach-Bereich fanden wir nicht ganz stimmig: Obwohl der riesige Strand direkt vor der Tür liegt, wurde unmittelbar bei den Liegen Fußball gespielt und es waren teilweise laut schreiende Kinder unterwegs. Wer dort Ruhe sucht, könnte sich daran stören. Die Hunde, die sich am Strand aufhalten und dort teilweise ihre Hinterlassenschaften hinterlassen, waren ebenfalls kein schöner Anblick.

Lage und Verpflegung – unbedingt vorher bedenken

Die Unterkunft liegt ziemlich abgelegen.

Un cocon dans une splendide baie et une sublime plage
Pros:

Confortable villa de bois pleine de charme, très bien équipée, disposant de tout le confort ainsi que d’une merveilleuse vue sur la splendide baie de Selong Belanak et sa sublime plage.
Le restaurant les pieds dans le sable depuis lequel on peut observer de superbes couchers de soleil est un régal pour les papilles.
Un petit coin de paradis d’où l’on n’a plus envie de repartir.

Perfekter Aufenthalt, für uns 3!
Pros:

Haben das Haus Kidung gehabt. Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet. Das Pool in unmittelbarer Nähe. Shuttelservice per WhatsApp buchbar, brauchten wir aber nur beim ein/aus-Checken, da wir die ganzen 8-Tage einen Roller hatten. Auch der wurde von der Unterkunft organisiert👍 Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Waren 2xNachtmahlessen, auch das lecker.Bestellmöglichkeit auch zum Haus möglich. Der Strand, samt Liegen war sensationell. Personal extrem aufmerksam und super nett.

Pros:

The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Lombok - one that is perfect for surf beginners, too.

The resort's restaurant is directly on the beach, on a beautiful setting; we loved eating there. We also appreciated having a private beach club for the resort with seats available at any time. We felt that we could really relax here.

Communication with the stuff was easy, they replied quickly and were helpful. We made use of several services - they helped us booking surf classes, several drives (from/to airport, from/to Koeta + several complementary drives to go anywhere around the resort), laundry (very quick even without the express service), scooters that are available directly on the premises. Everything went very smooth. The spa is also directly at the beach so it's quite relaxing to do treatments with the sound of the waves in the background.

The room was quite comfortable, we appreciated having filtered water to drink from at any time.

Cons:

The wifi was pretty bad, almost nonexistent. It would be nice to be able to just disconnect but sometimes it's simply necessary to have connection. The staff warns you about this and say that there's not much they can do, but I also visited a hotel nearby where the wifi worked perfectly - it could be worth looking into improving this aspect.

The spa was almost always fully booked, it was hard to find a spot. The staff was helpful and let us know when some spots would go free, which was nice, but maybe if the demand is high it's could be worth creating some more space to accommodate more treatments/slots during the day. Also on other facilities - some were hard to find; for example, it took us a long time to find the main pool. Maybe as a suggestion it would be useful to set up better indications for it.

The resort is located in nature, there can be monkeys and quite some bugs. It can be uncomfortable for some people - so good to be aware of this - but the staff was very helpful in sharing beforehand how to behave in case monkeys would come by, and they also have security in the resort for this. One more thing about location is that there's not so much around it and it's quite far from Koeta, so if what you're looking for is more facilities and services around, you'll need to arrange moving around by scooter or a driver.

I personally found the beds a little uncomfortable compared to other places we've been in Indonesia - but nothing too bad.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr nahe am Meer. Das Frühstück war auch super. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war deutlich einfacher als auf den Bildern der Zimmer, die man auf Booking sieht. Zudem hatte die Bettwäsche einige Flecken, womit ich mich unwohl gefühlt habe. Das Zimmer roch extrem stark (Pfefferminze oder so).

Magical Villa Kenari at Sempiak
Pros:

Villa Kenari is a unique and incredible villa at Sempiak . That particular villa probably offers the most spectacular viewsin selong belanak - pure hilltop paradise for a small group ( I was by myself )

Cons:

Nothing is ever perfect. First, sound travel upwards so you will hear sunnat al-subh very clearly from the small Pondok nearby at 4:45 AM . Second the staff needs to maintain quite a continuous presence in the surroundings of the villa to guard from the monkeys that apparently can open doors / don’t expect total privacy even though they are very discreet . Last , it’s a short but steep motorbike ride away from the restaurant or the beach club (or shuttle / car or walk ) - I did enjoy that a lot as a solo motorbike rider .

Lovely property, stunning beach, wonderful staff.
Pros:

We loved our villa! The beach is gorgeous, the food is delicious and the staff is fabulous.
The pool was lovely and so close to our villa. It felt like our private pool. The villa was gorgeous, great shower, great bed.
Words cannot express how beautiful this place is and how tranquil our stay was. If you are in the fence about this property do not hesitate! My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer!

Good stay for one night with a great beach

The holiday house is remote and the walk to the house does not feel you are on a resort but rather walking in a rural area. Nothing like a part of holiday or a resort.

Pros:

We had a lovely stay. Our house Kayu Putih was a short walk from the beach and the restaurant. It had plenty of space for two, a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and a nice terrace. Very friendly staff! Overall a relaxing stay.

Cons:

Did someone mention monkeys? I forgot a book on a terrace table, and a monkey got keen on a Wexford Omnibus. I recovered the paperback and now it is for you to read in Kayu Putih.

Un séjour inoubliable
Pros:

Tout ! La vue de la villa face a la mer était spectaculaire avec les couchers de soleils
Nous n’avions jamais rencontré de personnel aussi dévoué et attentionné, hyper réactif pour le moindre soucis
Les piscines sont magnifiques, le Beach club est super et bien entretenu
Les petits dej sont variés et goûtues tout comme le restaurant
Possibilité d’utiliser le service de voiture de l’hôtel pour retourner aux villa si nécessaire
La villa est spacieuse, très bien équipe avec haut potable via un distributeur réfrigérant directement dans al chambre !

Cons:

Seul petit défaut, le restaurant ferme assez tôt le soir avec dernière commande à 20h30 avec parfois l’impression d’être un peu pressé en fin de service
