Clean hotel and fabulous staff
Pros:

It was very clean and tidy and situated right beside pier. The staff are what make it from the bar men and then the singers Sharon and her husband really make the stay.

A true gem on Tory Island
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was quite nice; not a huge menu, but a well thought out one. Everything was squeaky clean. The room was spacious and well appointed. The little sunroom was a great place to hang out while waiting for the ferry. This is the only hotel on the island, so my expectations weren't that high; it was a very pleasant surprise how lovely it really was, considering the remoteness of the place. I'll gladly come back and recommend it to friends.

Cons:

The mattress was a bit like a board, but hey, some people like that. Sound really traveled, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Pros:

The hotel is very well located, the rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, and the dinner was nice. The coffee (although decaf mainly) could be refilled easily as spare items like tea, coffee, milk... were visibly available. The common areas are enticing.

Cons:

It would be great if there were single rooms that were more reasonable for single guests; that it would be possible, as a bird watcher to be permitted to have a room on the first floor; not having WiFi in the rooms is a significant inconvenience (even for using the smart functions of the tv).. Room locks could be easier to use, and the sachets of shower gel too (but the alternative soap dispenser was well filled).

Tory is well worth a visit
Pros:

Very clean big room with comfortable beds, with bar facilities and plenty of coffee/ tea/uht milk for making drinks in the room, close to the pier, Dinner options were good value and tasty.

Cons:

The price for a single person was high. A light for reading would be helpful - the bedside lamp that's there is pretty but not functional for reading purposes

A marvellous hotel, informal but every need catered for
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious, dinner was too. The staff were wonderful and made the stay perfect.
