Good choice, would very definitely go back as we have good memories of this hotel.
Pros:

Location is good just out of town but walkable. The block of rooms is surrounded by trees and plants and it’s possible to see wildlife. We saw and heard lots of birds, monkeys, a giant squirrel and butterflies from our room very spacious varanda. Our room was on the top and floor..The reception and restaurant is located in a different building , short walking distance from the rooms. The breakfast like everybody mentioned is brilliant and the restaurant serves nice food too.
We attend walking in yoga lessons and enjoyed that.
The owner and all the staff were welcoming and a good source of information; we booked the trips to the reserve with them which was hassle free and saved us time searching. We enjoyed a lot more the walk in the afternoon than the trip on the boat in very early morning. We liked the small town, Kumilly too. Ah, almost forgot the swmming pool which is nice too with a good area to hang around.

Cons:

I didnt like the bedding being a dark colour. I prefer it when is white, but maybe it’s me being fussy. That wouldn’t stop me going back.

Definitely worth staying here.
Pros:

Service was absolutely fantastic and attention to detail was appreciated.
Everything was very clean, easy and we enjoyed watching the monkeys.

endroit super, l’accueil trés sympathique, restaurant excellent, quelques ameliorations dans les chambres dont à prévoir

Fantastisch verblijf!
Pros:

Het personeel is top! De vriendelijkheid en het meedenken met alles van safari's regelen tot aan elke ochtend een pot warm water om 6 uur voor elke deur zodat je koffie of thee kan drinken smorgens en vroege ochtend ontbijten voor de safari's
De kamers zijn zeer schoon en je wordt smorgens lekker wakker van de vogels en apen wat heerlijk is!

Helemaal niets valt hier tegen!

Een TOPper onder de hotels!
Pros:

Het ‘team’ van de receptie regelt echt alles (excursies, transport, glutenvrij eten) voor je. Je hebt een onbezorgd verblijf. Ze zijn heel goed met milieu bezig: je kunt je waterfles vullen, zonnepanelen, schoonmaak op aanvraag. Goed restaurant. Klasse gewoon!

Maravillosa estancia en Thekkadi
Pros:

Está dentro del parque natural, el dueño y todo el equipo son super helpful, te ayudan en todo con los transfers, billetes, tours, y además lo hacen rápido y super eficaz! El restaurante buenísimo, la gente venía de otros hoteles a comer al nuestro (hay muchas opciones europeas), la piscina en la última planta también va fenomenal! A parte se ofrecen las clases de yoga diarias!

Great place to stay with amazing staff
Pros:

Owner and staff were amazing. Best so far on our journey around India. Basic but comfortable rooms. Great location for walking around. Staff made the difference and made us feel very welcome. Attended to our needs and ensured we were happy.

Room lighting is harsh, perhaps more subtle lamps would make the ambience better and feel less hostile like

A relaxing and peaceful hotel
Pros:

The accommodation was basic but clean and nice. It was in a quiet and in a peaceful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us to organise a Jeep trip which we enjoyed. Adel gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and made sure that we were happy and comfortable. Breakfast was great and included gluten free options.

Vriendelijke staf, fijne plek.
Pros:

Enorm gastvrije staf, ze voelen goed aan wat je nodig hebt als gast en bieden dat met enthousiasme aan. We mochten onze tassen laten staan tijdens onze hike en na afloop zelfs nog even douchen. Fijne kamers en een goed restaurant. Aanrader!

Cons:

De koffie is geen aanrader, maar gelukkig was de rest top.
