Pros:

Ce lieu est un trésor.
J’ai adoré mon magnifique bungalow à deux étages.
Le lit était confortable, la douche était chaude, l’environnement était magique.
Le propriétaire est exceptionnel, les repas excellents et le personnel très agréable et professionnel.
Je recommande l’excellent massage et la cérémonie cacao.
J’ai adoré mon séjour là-bas.

Hotelito is een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. De locatie is prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het eten is heel goed en de activiteiten zijn divers en betaalbaar. Ons huisje was schoon en heel ruim. Wij hebben enorm genoten. Vooral voor de natuurliefhebber een enorme aanrader.

Place of my heart!
Pros:

Es war ein absolutes Highlight der Reise! Der Ort ist perfekt um zu chillen und runterzukommen. Das Essen ist wunderbar und Tim mit seinen Leuten enorm hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für die tolle und unvergessliche Zeit.

I will never forget it!
Pros:

The owners are typically somewhere around, which means they see, and experience their own property often. They take the time to resolve any issues, plan ahead, and keep systems in place that are obviously working which shows up in the quality of the food, the decor, and upkeep.

As a single female traveler, I felt very safe overall. The doors locked, there's sufficient lighting, clean paths, honorable and ethical employees- so you aren't being harassed for tips or "dates".

They communicated very clearly, and are concise from right after the booking, until I was checked out. If any guest had questions about navigating the river, nearby experiences and tourist destinations, the staff was more than willing to give you honest information.

I enjoyed feeling safe to sit in the common areas or on the dock in the evenings. The seating areas are well maintained, and have some lighting, but not too much to be overbearing at night. It would be very hard for random people to come on to the property, so you mostly only interact with people who should be there or are accounted for.

I really enjoyed the fresh quality foods, and homemade bread. The portions are large! You definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth plus some. Then there's the dark, rich, delicious chocolate they make on site and serve at dinner... mmmmmmm it's so good!

The bed in the first cabin was ok. It wasn't bad, but it did remind me of childhood summer camp. I liked the layout of the second cabin a little better since I had an option to sit downstairs on the couch and could still use the internet since it's closer to the main shared space where the internet is located. The bed in the second cabin I used was better than the first.

The mosquito nets and coils are definitely needed, and appreciated. The staff also takes the nets down to clean them periodically. All the work they do in the off season and in between guests really makes a difference!

Cons:

I didn't like how rushed the clean up after dinner can be, and how noisy the staff is when they arrive in the morning. Yes, it's their jobs, but it's the guests experience and attempt to rest.

A must-stay when visiting Rio Dulce to truly experience the nature and wildlife of this area
Pros:

This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from civilization, surrounded by beautiful jungle and nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s a wonderful place to slow down, meet other travelers and enjoy the surroundings.

They offer great tours and kayak rentals, which make it easy to explore the area around Rio Dulce. The breakfast, dinner, and drinks were all really nice as well.

Tiempo para uno mismo
Pros:

Tuve problema con el tamaño grande de las porciones, no me gusta desperdiciar comida. Pero vi que los demás se comieron todo sin problema. El wifi solo en un área funciona bien pero el lugar es para desconectarse.

Cons:

La ubicación es excelente pero es cansado llegar y regresar desde la ciudad. No es culpa del hotel.

Fantastische plek om te ervaren.
Pros:

Heerlijke afgelegen plek aan riviertje in de jungle. Lekker zwemmen, kanoën door de mangrove en relaxen. Het personeel is erg lief en behulpzaam.

Cons:

WiFi beperkt. Kinderen zagen dit als een nadeel, ik als een voordeel.

Pros:

Fijn personeel die je kunnen helpen met activiteiten in de buurt of het boeken van een shuttle naar je volgende bestemming. Het eten iedere avond is erg voedzaam en lekker en de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn ook erg ruim opgezet.

Cons:

Het is er erg warm en klam waardoor een ventilator 's nachts noodzakelijk is. Er zijn ontzettend veel muggen doordat het op een brak water moeras zit.

You do have to appreciate where you are i.e. the jungle. There are bats, spiders, frogs, mosquitoes, and serious heat and humidity.

The menu is entirely vegetarian. So please be aware of that

The mosquito nets had holes in them

The walkway to the bar is completely underwater

Ein Traum im Dschungel
Pros:

Wir waren vier Nächte in einem kleinen privaten Zimmer. Es gibt unterschiedliche Zimmer/ Bungalows mit Veranda und Hängematten. Beim Buchen darauf achten was ihr genau möchtet.

Da man mitten im Dschungel wohnt begegnet man verschiedenen Tieren, leider auch im Zimmer. Aber das ist eben im Dschungel so. Aus diesem Grund ist über dem Bett ein Mosquitonetz.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Man hört in der Nacht die Geräusche des Dschungels.
Am Anlegesteg ist eine Chillarea mit Hängematten, Liegen und einer Bar direkt am Fluss. Es ist einfach wunderschön zum erholen und Kontakte knüpfen.

Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, vor allem das Omlette😆, und das gemeinsame Abendessen ebenfalls.

Es war eines unserer Highlights der Reise. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir gerne noch länger geblieben wären.
