The Parador is within walking distance of the major sites in Antigua, even though the final block to get to the property is not very enjoyable (very busy street with narrow sidewalks). Besides the location, we unfortunately don't have much positive to state about the property.
We booked the "Deluxe Queen Room," hoping to get a superior room. The one and only "Deluxe Queen Room" faces directly onto busy 4ta Avenida, a very busy and noisy thoroughfare at all hours of the day, late into the night, and very early in the morning. We are grateful that we didn't have to endure more than two nights under such cirucumstances. The room itself was outdated and simply average. The glass partitions in the lobby were full of smudges -- see the attached pictures. We did not see a single other guest during our entire stay. Our breakfast was average and only started at 8:30 am. Breakfast starting at such a late hour was a first for us! The staff was not very engaging or warm. In short, we simply did not feel very at home at this property. There are several properties on much nicer streets nearby (1a Calle Oriente comes to mind) that we would choose if returning to Antigua.
Amazing stay and such good hosts. Julisa was amazing for helping us with tours and made a perfect breakfast.

Las grandes ventanas de la habitación daban a una terraza por la que podía pasar la gente. Así que había que estar con las cortinas echadas todo el tiempo
Súper cómodo, tranquilo y la Atención de personal muy buena.
La cama y la terraza , su ubicación es súper buena muy cerca de todo lugar seguro .

Charming small (4 room) hotel just 3 blocks from city center. Staff were very accommodating. Great view from second story. Premier room on 2nd story has nice balcony view.
On busier street so front room was loud(esp Saturday night) but a lovely room. Staff accommodated our request to move for second half of stay.

No cuenta con parqueo, ya que es tercerizado. Problemas de presión de agua.

La habitación estaba descuidada y habían por momentos olores desagradables.
Buen hotel en general, limpio, atención amable y desayuno con distintas opciones servido a la mesa. Se agaradecen las áreas comunes con mesas y sillas.
La entrada a la habitación es por el baño, la habitación Bilbao es la que nos tocó. Ponían música de reguetón durante el desayuno, y la habitación es más pequeña y incómoda de lo que dice la descripción de las fotos. En la descripción pone que tiene refrigerador y otros electrodomésricos, pero en realidad se refieren a la cocina del hotel, donde puedes guardar cosas en el refrigerador si se lo pides.
