Just the water problem but the room was great

First, they told me that they didnt accept payment with Master card, but they didnt say that before nor was that mentioned anywhere. Then they give me the room and it was NOT what I reserved, it didn't even have a TV and there were no towels, they said they were going to bring but never happened.
The next day, breakfast is supposed to start at 7 am, I had to leave at 7.30 because of my flight, it was 7.25 and not even the coffee was ready!
And I saw a cocoroach in the room! It stinked because it was next to the kitchen... all wrong.

Mixed up my booking and gave me a queen room for 2 nights instead of the king room. The queen room had no remote so no TV
The bathrooms were poorly constructed, it was always very wet after you showered.

Intermittent power outages and no AC throughout the entire night

During our 6-night stay, we had 4 nights without electricity, meaning no air conditioning or hot water. The rooms also need better lighting. Smoking and drug use should be totally restricted to indoor, away from children and non smocking guest rooms. Music should be kept at a reasonable volume, especially in the morning and evening. The pool also needs better cleaning and maintenance.
On the positive side, Great location and excellent staff, they were courteous, professional, and provided a great service. With improvements to electricity, cleanliness, lighting, and noise control, the overall experience could be much better.

Room don't have an iron to iron your clothes, breakfast take a bit long after making any request. also road lead the resort need done, it kinda risky driving up the hills.

After booking through booking.com, and receiving a reservation email, I then received another email stating that I had to check with the hotel before my registration was complete. The phone number given by booking.com did not go through. I stopped at the hotel at 12:30 to make sure I had a valid reservation. The staff could not guarantee my room unless I paid. I understood that I had already paid through booking.com. The staff said no. They did tell me that my room would be available in 15 minutes, well ahead of the 3pm check in time. So I waited. And waited. I visited the pool and saw that it had maybe 18" of water in it. I inquired about it and the staff told me they would fill it later and would be ready upon my arrival. Which I knew was an impossible task given the size of the pool. So no pool access. After 1/2 hour, I heard the cleaning lady say she was heading to the room to begin cleaning it now. So I left, stating I would come back at the 4-5pm time frame that I had indicated on my booking. I was pressured into making my payment before I left, which I was very hestitant to do because I believed I had already paid. Even after all of this headache, I returned at 4:30 to check in. I had booked a king, balcony room and received a a double queen room, very small and dark. I returned to the desk and they stated no room that I reserved was available. I had had enough and asked to cancel my reservation. They stated they could not cancel the transaction but would give me a piece of paper stating I didn't stay there. After much discussion, she finally was able to cancel the transaction. The whole experience was a disaster. I would NOT recommend staying here. This was my first and LAST time booking with booking.com.
