Pros:

Clean, comfortable, great pool, tasty breakfast, great views from all the rooms. Walkable to town.

Pros:

A very nice hotel. The room is basically furnished but immaculately clean with good a/c but intermittent WiFi. 50 steps for the bay view top room, stunning at sunset.
Breakfast was eggs to choice with toast or banana pancake, a small plate of fruits and tea or coffee. Perfectly adequate. The pool was a good size, sparklingly clean with a wonderful view. It could do with a few more sunbeds, there's twenty rooms, potentially 40 people but only 10 sunbeds.
2km to the town centre for restaurants for dinner, around 60/80k Rupiah per trip

Pros:

La vue depuis les chambres et la piscine est magnifique. C’est calme, loin de la route et la végétation est belle et magnifiquement entretenue. Nous avons parfaitement été reçu. Pour manger, sur place, il faudra commander avec l’app Grab (livreurs). Il est préférable d’avoir un scooter car l’hotel est a env 20 du centre à pieds. Ca monte pour revenir.

Amazing views and beautiful gardens, nice balcony. Private.
Very helpful polite staff.
No frills, but had everything we needed.

Cons:

A bit too far from town, no restaurant at the hotel, apart from breakfast. But you can order Gojek takeaway.
In the early morning you can hear a call to prayer from the town mosques. But it would have been even louder if the hotel was closer to the town centre.

We had a wonderful stay at Golo Hilltop Hotel and actually stayed here twice – once before and once after our Komodo boat trip. It was incredibly convenient that we could leave our main luggage there in between. Both the kids and we absolutely loved it! The location is superb with a fantastic view, and the pool area is just brilliant. The breakfast was good, the staff very friendly, and the beds were comfortable and equipped with mosquito nets. Everything was clean. They were also super helpful with tips for excursions and offered great services like laundry, scooter rental, and airport transfers.

Cons:

The rooms and equipment were a bit dated and showing their age.
