I wouldn't go there for a stay even if offered free.
Pros:

What is good? A bit difficult question
No noise other than that from other guests in the place. It is located in a residential area with not much traffic. So you can enjoy some quiet. Beach is nearby, but the closest area didn't look conducive for a family visit; it looked more like a fishing village area. Didn't have chance to explore much as we were their just for an evening + night.

Cons:

Bad vibes start the moment you step into their 'reception' area. And then it continues all the way to the room - staircase (we already knew and had no issues that there is no lift) with uneven steps; wallpaper in the corridor straining to stay on the wall; and you open the room and are treated to the same inside the room too - wallpaper peeling off everywhere; no chair in the room (reason given, majority of rooms occupied by wedding party who needed more space to lay extra beds! - we didn't have any such requirement).

The following were inconsequential for us-
Food: options are limited. They have a kitchen and cook does provide freshly cooked food. But that's just about it. Eating area, cutlery etc. will leave you with wanting a bit of improvement.
Swimming Pool: a joke to call it a swimming pool.

Highly recommend this place. Safe for solo travellers.
Pros:

Awesome place to stay on a workation. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean rooms with superb service and tasty food just an order away! Must experience place in chennai city!!

Comfortable stay with clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff, good location, and great value for money
Pros:

Had a pleasant stay with a lot of greenery around filled with many trees. Many activities to fill keep you occupied during your stay, especially the swimming pool and badminton was fun! A must visit for the price line they have!!
