Nice enough, affordable place to stay for a couple of days.
Pros:

OK buffet breakfast - and they open early so you can eat breakfast before catching the early flights out. Nice pool. Nice rural area to walk around for a look at Sumba village life.
Very nice staff.

Cons:

The location is just on edge of town, surrounded by mainly rural properties. You need transport to get into town. There's no real beach - just a flat reef that is exposed at low tide.

Pros:

Het hotel heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en voor deze regio is het luxe. De prijs kwaliteitsverhouding is ontzettend goed. Zoals overal op Sumba was ook hier het personeel heel erg vriendelijk en de luchthaven shuttle was gratis.

Cons:

Ik vond de kamer iets minder schoon dan je zou verwachten.

Can’t imagine there’s a better option in Waingapu.
Pros:

Has a resort feel to it with a lovely pool and restaurant facing the coast. The food is inexpensive and portions are large.

An excellent hotel I would stay at again in the future!
Pros:

The restaurant area was fantastic, the breakfast really, really good. And the room was nice and spacious.

Cons:

The place isn't within walking distance of the city, so you have to take a Grab every time you want to go somewhere, but thats generally speaking not a problem to organize. Just not on your own feet.

I had a wonderful stay, even extending an extra night.
Pros:

It was pretty. The staff were so friendly. They helped me with transport and even brought my forgotten watch to me a few kilometres away.

Cons:

Breakfast finished at 10am.

Sabanas llenas de manchas y mala ducha.

Son amables.

Cons:

Las sabanas llenas de manchas de sangre, pedimos que nos las cambiaran y todas las que trajeron seguian teniendo manchas. Al igual que el protector del colchón, todo sucio, asi en 4 intentos. Finalmente el director del hotel nos buscó ropa de cama nueva, pero nos costó horas conseguirlo. El baño olia fatal, a tuberia y el agua de la ducha no salia bien, poco caudal y alcahofa medio rota.

Great place with excellent value for money to stay in Sumba
Pros:

Friendly and welcoming staff, a beautiful and comfortable room, and delicious, well-priced food at the restaurant. The balcony offers stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. Overall, excellent value for money.

Cons:

The shower room felt a bit outdated, and in the evenings the water pressure was quite low, with only cold water available.
