I think it was really expensive for the facilities they were offering.

On arrival reception were not very friendly.
My room was dirty.
The walls, the floor, the curtains. Everything! The sheets were clean but had holes in them. The pillows were filthy under the pillowcase. The one towel I was given was almost thread bare. The shower didn't work - the fitting to change from tap to shower head was broken off.
There was no soap or anything. There was an opened aeroplane toothbrush left in its packet on the sink.
No toilet paper and the bathroom floor was constantly wet like there was a leak.
I sat by the pool - with its slightly hazy water- and ordered some food which was passable.
The guy that had taken me to my room kept coming over and sitting at my table. I tried to talk to him but he didn't speak much English. He just sat there and stared for a few minutes and then left. He did this several times. He commented he wanted my ipdad or my phone. Totally crept me out. He had already said he wanted my Sneakers on the way to my room. I made sure I locked the door!!
I know this place is cheap but it definitely should not have the current rating it is showing. It is close to the airport but there is nothing else around so you are kind of stuck here. Being away from town it was quiet and I did actually manage to sleep ok. Only 5 minutes from the airport is not a good reason to stay here. I won't be staying here on my way back through. Cheap or not, it's not worth the yuck factor.

the pool area was unavailable despite my search requesting a pool, none of the staff spoke English, the early airport shuttle driver was 30mins late

The google map / booking.com map was t accurate so my taxi man struggled to find the place… and there was a wedding on the same night so I was refused entry to the pool despite there being no one around at the time.. not a big deal but “pool” is part of my search filter.. also no one on staff speaks English and my 5am airport taxi booking was 40mins late, staff were sleeping..

The decor of this hotel is hard to categorise. Indo-Rococo perhaps, a touch of Gaudi or Disneyworld wanna be.
Things started badly: they could not find our Booking.com details so we were forced to pay for supposedly the only room they had left. Once in the room we found our booking and receipt. After some Google Translate to and fro they refunded our payment and installed us in another room
This room was mouldy and stained and lacked essentials such as toilet paper
Since we had paid for a “Deluxe room with Sea View” we requested a change
The next room was larger and tastefully decorated but once again no toilet paper,soap and only one towel to share ( which was all we needed as no water came out of the hot tap an a dribble out of the cold)
We did have the sea view but as the sea is maybe 5 km away it could be described as a real estate agents “sea glimpse”
We did have a balcony accessed through a torn curtain but as the door handle was broken we would have been locked outside on a 4th floor balcony had the door shut
Attempts to remedy the situation resulted in smiles and giggles but no action
The morning breakfast was surprising good and the free airport transfer was welcome

I dont like all thing about the hotel, the oldl building with the scary enviroment. The staff was so rude. I asked them to refund my money due to I cancel my nights there, they didnt give my money back till now.

I recommeded to you guys dont booked in this hotel for your safetyness...

Our friends room had issues with bathroom.
