Beautiful and well kept estate in a natural and rugged setting. The front of house staff (Maura, Mary & Geraldine) were exceptional, making you feel completely at home yet spoiled red rotten. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless and spacious with old manor luxury. Food was phenomenal, the chefs created delicious, high quality, beautifully presented food for the set menu each evening and the breakfast was 5 star too. The drawing room allowed a quiet place to relax and read during the day and the beginning of social fun with all other guests in the evening. The communal table for dining made for entertainment, everyone chatting and sharing stories, loved it. We were there for my husband’s 40th birthday and staff frequently went above and beyond over the weekend to mark it in fun and thoughtful ways. Thanks for having us and providing a Céad Míle Fáilte!
The room was a little too hot but you can adjust the radiator easily
This hotel is very special. Its location is remote but wonderful. The scenery in the area is awesome. It is cosy, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are just so lovely. Canapés, dinner and breakfast were excellent. What's really nice is the dining experience, shared with the other guests.
What's there not to like about all the above??!!

It was comfortable, warm and cozy.
It was as I expected
Unique and gorgeous property. You meet interesting and like minded travellers at the communal meals and the staff make you feel at home immediately. The food is excellent, hearty made to order breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and lovely multi course dinners made from fresh local ingredients. The grounds, views, location are so beautiful, isolated and unique. A relaxing place to unplug, read and recharge. The walks/hikes around the property, surrounding area and the fish hatchery are lovely. We weren't there during fishing season but the hikes and the recommended local driving loops are excellent. Read the binder for great info about the area and a chuckle. The closest town is about a 20 min challenging (winding narrow roads, sheep, breathtaking scenery) drive, so not for people looking for 'action' but rather for those seeking quiet and interesting conversation over drinks in the evenings.
Nothing really except we would have liked to stay longer. Our room was a triple room on the ground floor where guests walked past our doors/windows to enter the mudroom door. We did not feel that we needed to close the curtains but others may need to for privacy but then you can't see the view of the lake and mountains! I prefer having coffee in the room mornings but the staff always accomodated us with americanos/espresso made on request to take back to our room.

Keine tollen Wanderrouten ringsherum. Man muss sich ins Auto setzen, um etwas unternehmen zu können.
Man muss es mögen, mit vielen anderen an einer großen Tafel zu frühstücken. Wir mochten es nicht.
Petit déjeuner excellent ! Repas convivial parfait et familial ! Environnement exceptionnel ! Nous avons carrément adoré cette magnifique maison de campagne ! Un rêve réalisé dans une chambre romantique et de très bon goût ! La qualité d un petit hôtel de haute qualité
Delphi lodge n est pas bien indiqué sur la route !!!! A part cela je ne trouve aucun défaut ! Même en cherchant bien !
