Just an average hotel at the main center.
Pros:

The location is good which is near to tea estates and Gov. agricultural farm.

Cons:

No proper maintenance as most of the things inside the room are very old and in bad condition. No one was available at the reception for about 10 minutes when we reached hotel around 12:45 PM. With no mobile network, it is hard to contact anyone too. Hotel staffs are friendly but had to follow-up with hotel staff continuously for towels. Though the room is a dual occupancy one, we are provided with one towel, one glass, one toothbrush etc. for each room. I do not understand the logic of giving one each for a dual occupancy room :-).

Location and that's it.
If there was any other accommodation available in Nelliampathy, I would definitely not take Jyothis Retreat.

Cons:

The room was not clean, sheets were having stains on them.
The guy at the reception was strange. He was not replying to any questions we asked. He told us there will be a room service breakfast in the morning. We stayed for two days and the breakfast never came. He didn't even mention why.

The place was almost non-operational owing to off season. Maybe it would offer better stay during the tourist season. The room linen was not very clean, limited dining options and poor internet connectivity.
