The location was perfect with a short walk to town and the ferry port. The breakfast was an array of sweets, rolls, fruit, and some eggs to order.
Unfortunately the hotel could use a refresh. There was mold above the bathroom door and some stains/wear along the walls and base boards.
The hotel was so good! The staff was some of the best we’ve had in our time. I run Airbnb’s in Hawaii and they treated us like I would Want to treat any guest.
Nothing
Staff was fantastic.
Wonderful staff excellent location.
Ordered transportation service when needed. Provided information on local destinations.
Excellent location! Friendly staff-very attentive and helpful! Short walk from Old Town. Hotel is charming, beach across the street, we had a beautiful view of the water, not all rooms do. Breakfast was simple.
Water leak from the shower on the floor after every shower. Coffee was weak, but we enjoyed getting coffee in Old Town & taking a morning stroll around the town.
The place was excellent and the staff were amazing. The only issue was that the WiFi was spotty but everything else was wonderful with our stay.
Good location
Expensive for what you got
LOCATION: The location is close to the ferry terminal that I used. It is also close to everything.
FRIENDLY STAFF: Greet you with a smile and always available to assist.
None
The location was fantastic
Unfortunately there was an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom plumbing
Nothing fancy but met all the basics- the history of the building and how the hotel was built is interesting. Not really sure if there’s a better place to stay in Korcula which to me was part of the charm of this lovely town ie no large commercial resorts.
Pros-
Location can’t be beat- very easy walk to the town. Also practically next door to a great local konoba (Banje) where I had my lost memorable meal (see review). Marco gelato is also supposedly great and a skip away (sadly closed during my visit).
We were picked up directly from the ferry but not sure if this was arrange by the hotel or our travel company. Definitely recommend this.
Very friendly and helpful front daytime desk staff- helped us with our luggage since all rooms require climbing stairs.
Room is very spacious and met all the basics- bed a tad too hard for me but comfortable enough.
Cons
The women working in the dining area were definitely less friendly and not very helpful. Afternoon staff are not as friendly or helpful as the daytime staff.
Breakfast is very basic - don’t expect much. They do offer a few cooked options to select. Did not dine for any other meals at the restaurant but why eat here when Banje is right next door, delicious and where all the locals go?
Told about the wine tasting but we were not aware that there is a 25 euro per person charge- would not have gone if we had known that. We were actually scolded by the “sommelier” for being 5 minutes late but were never told this was a class! Not a pleasant start to any evening.
Be aware that there is no elevator and all rooms require climbing a minimum flight of stairs.
Erg goed restaurant
Location was good, on the water, short walk into town
Staff were OK, one waitress did tell us off for having breakfast at one of the made up tables outside.
Room was huge with separate living area, oddly the bed was small and the bathroom quite cramped, internet the worst we experienced in Croatia.
Outdoor terrace was very nice.
Breakfast was fine – a la carte with small buffet, due to poor weather we ate dinner in the hotel on our first night and enjoyed the meal but found it expensive.
Overall a good option in Korcula town.
absolutely beautiful hotel was a staff that couldn’t have been more welcoming.
It was a little overpriced for off-season – we had a problem with third-party booking and the manager took care of us on site instead of dealing with them by the website when we get home. Highly recommend this place – just a little expensive.
40 years in the hospitality industry and this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. Amazing food, wonderful staff, great location.
Great staff, restaurant and staff!
L’emplacement en face de la mer, super petit déj, personnel adorable.
