Pros:

The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location. The roof top bar was a great feature and the barman was exceptional.

Cons:

We were SCAMMED by the hotel via their travel service and we're COND out of thousands for a taxi that was over three times the going rate. The operator at the hotel was hostile and bullish. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
It really tainted what would of been a wonderful stay. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
When asked to address this situation, the hotel said they were in the right and I was wrong. I wasn't surprised at these further lies. All this has led me to question my hotel bill at the end of the stay and how much more money the potentially SCAMMED FROM US ON OUR STAY!

PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, RELAIBLE STAFF NESTLED IN OLD CHARM
Pros:

The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to assist. We felt safe and reassured during our time here with anything that the hotel organised. They were all professional, friendly and reliable.
The restaurant staff were very and attentive. The ladies cleaned immaculately.

Cons:

Some of the bedding pillows were a little hard.

MAJESTIC EXCELLENCE

The staff were excellent. We dealt with approximately 20 staff representing different departments and only 2 had a little attitude.

Stunning lakeside property with spacious rooms and great staff
Pros:

What a location! You can’t get better than this in Udaipur from a views perspective. Lovely Haveli right on the lake with a gorgeous garden and pool and fantastic restaurant looking over the lake. Go to the rooftop bar for a sundowner drink - you won’t regret it. Our room had stunning views over the old town and lake and was incredibly spacious. Staff were super helpful and responsive

Cons:

Bathroom is old and could do with an update, but it was fine and functional

Beautiful view and very comfortable stay.
Pros:

One of the best view hotels. This was a recommendation from a very good friend and this did not disappoint us at all.
The room was simple but very accommodating. We were right next to the water and it seemed like we were in a house boat.
The breakfast and the service was exceptional.
There are so many rooftop restaurants with amazing view and great authentic Indian food.
Thank you for a great experience.
Will recommend this heritage hotel anytime. ❤️🙏
