Pros:

Very well equipped room, hot water shower, comfy bed. Receptionist very friendly and helpful with organizing transport.

Cons:

Bathroom could be cleaner (needs renovation).
Room/bathroom looks older than on pictures.

Pros:

Hôtel très basique à Padang Sidempuan. Les chambres sont tout juste propres et sentent la cigarette. Nous n'avions qu'à y passer une nuit pour couper en deux notre trajet entre la lac Toba et Maninjau donc c'est passé mais il ne faut pas en attendre plus.

Cons:

La propreté, les odeurs de cigarettes dans les chambres.
Le petit déjeuner copieux mais avec essentiellement des plats épicés.

Cons:

C'est sale notamment les draps
Une des deux chambres réservées sentait le tabac froid

Only stay here if you have to. Functional stay, but not enjoyable.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and responsive.

Cons:

The place is totally unclean. We had to change rooms because the first room smelled like cigarette smoke. The sheets don't look or feel clean on the beds. We were lucky to have a window out the back of the building, but if you have one out onto the street, you'll have to deal with some noise.

Best value in Padang Sidempuan, still very bad value tho
Pros:

All the money went into the Lobby.
Beds are comfortable.

Cons:

Rooms are dated and not very clean.
We only went there because we had to... Would have been smarter to go back to Medan and take the plane.

Moderate hotel that lacks maintenance
Pros:

The bed is comfortabel.
We were offered a free breakfast, which was not included in the price of the room.
The staff is very friendly and the lobby clean and spacious.

Cons:

Not very clean.
The window of our room had a big hole, so noise and mosquitos can enter easily.
The windows are not soundproof at all, we woke up several times from trucks hooting from the main road.

Everything was very grubby and the sheet of our bed looked like it had been used before. The cups in the breakfast room were simply dirty. A dead fly on the edge of one, stains and lipstick on others.
