Location is amazing especially the rooms facing the ocean.
Staff very friendly and go out of their way to assist.
It is within walking distance to other restaurants, store and spa.
Food is reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants.
One small thing was the coffees were too small and could possibly offer larger cups. Price matched the size of the cups however.
Margaritas were very good but the glasses were never full. Compared to other places with the same price, the glasses should have been full.
This was not really a dislike but an observation to remedy.

We had an amazing stay at Kacchapa Resort in Sumbawa. The location is perfect — right in the central area of Sekongkang and very close to the surfing spots, which made everything super convenient.
The resort has a wonderful ambience and truly offers everything you need for a relaxing leisure stay. It features a private pool, beautiful sea view, and stunning sunset view. There is also a new restaurant and bar on-site, and they provide scooter rental and transport services, which made getting around very easy.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed, making us feel very welcome.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced for both lunch and dinner. Our room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed, and everything was clean — including the bathroom.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sekongkang, whether for surfing or just a peaceful getaway!

- The location is amazing, right on the beach of a beautiful bay
- Dani, the manager, is a real sweetheart and is trying his best
- we booked two double rooms, when we arrived one of them had dirty towels laying next to the sink, the toilet seat open and the toilet was dirty when we checked in
- they are currently renovating some rooms, one of our room was just renovated and there was a really strong toxic smell of the gloss paint on the walls and surfaces. When we talked to the manager about it, he told us all the rooms are booked and he can not offer us another one. It was so bad that one of the nights I had to sleep in the room of my friend. After contacting the owner about the issue they didn’t want to refund us the one night but offered us a free dinner. It’s a nice gesture but regarding the issue and what we paid for the 2 rooms it is clearly not enough. The room was definitely not ready to be rented out and should have been ventilated for a few more days as breathing this is damaging customers health.
- the cleaning of the housekeeping during our stay was really not done well, sometimes not bringing fresh towels, leaving sand and stains in the basin or shower or simply not making the beds. For the price of the resort really disappointing
- all the towels we had were smelling really bad. It seems like either they wash them cold only or they don’t have a dryer on the site, so during rainy periods they take days to dry and start smelling
- one of our rooms was a sea view room and due to the heavy rain and wind, it pushed the water into the rooms, the walls and the front door would soak up the water and it was almost impossible to close the door afterwards.
- in the room was a price list for laundry, advertising that it will be returned after 24 hours. When we asked for the service they said: “oh sorry, now with the rain it takes 4 days until return” ?! Seriously?!
- we ordered some vegetarian food once to the room and after waiting for a really long time and being very hungry they delivered a dish with chicken. A little frustrating.
