Mad about Coco is rescuing dogs. They have 3-5 DOGS on their premises roaming around freely.
Please book another place when you cannot tolerate dogs for any reason.

Mad about Coco has special house rules for GROUP RESERVATIONS. No parties and alcohol allowed on the premises. We don't tolerate NOISE (music, loud chatting) after 11pm.
A full PREPAYMENT is mandatory. We don't accept payments for room reservations on-site.

Decent Stay in a Convenient Location
Pros:

I had a decent stay at this resort. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is convenient, and there is a shortcut to North Cliff which makes it easy to walk around.
The room and resort is clean. It is good for short duration stays. The room ambience is very simple and basic.

For breakfast, the English breakfast, omelettes, overnight oats and juices were good. However, the appams with sambar, chutney and kadala curry were all disappointing and so was the normal Indian tea. I hope guests do not take this as a benchmark for authentic Kerala food.
Overall, a satisfactory stay for a short visit.

Cons:

The food quality at their restaurant- Sun Francisco. Bathroom towel quality and toiletries need some improvement.

A very good stay overall
Pros:

Very good location, very friendly staff, nice outside areas.

Cons:

I booked a budget room because others were not available. My stuff were on the floor for 5 days because the room has no furniture except a small table which I needed for work. Not a big issue but to fix maybe.

Mooi gelegen met rustige binnentuin, maar tegen de klif aan boven het strand met alles nabij. Ontbijt in Sun Francisco was erg lekker. Je kon yogalessen boeken op het dakterras

Er was een lekkende bidet-kraan, doucheputje niet zo schoon een de douche was lauw (wel warm water uit de andere kraan, die je dan in een emmer kon laten lopen en over je heen gooien, maar niet heel handig met douchen en gaten wassen zo

The perfect Varkala stay close to the beach and restaurants yet beautifully quiet and relaxing.
Pros:

Perfect location right near the cliff just a few minutes down to the beach. Super lovely grounds with nice areas to relax in and a yoga shalla on top of the building. Breakfasts in their seaview restaurant were exceptional. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing - it was great! Would definitely come again.

Gostámos de tudo. Quarto limpo, cama confortável, chuveiro bom. Staff super simpático e prestável. Localização excelente e pequeno almoço óptimo e com vista para o mar! Adorámos tudo!

Pros:

Super Unterkunft. Mega Lage, gleich am Cliff. Ganz außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal und sehr sehr hilfreiche Besitzerin, die Stunden damit verbracht hat uns bei der Planung und der Organisation unserer Reise zu helfen und zu unterstützen. Auch außergewöhnlich gut ist das dazugehörige Restaurant wo man sein Frühstück bekommt. Etwas Zeit mitbringen und man wird mit fantastischem Kaffee und Essen belohnt.

Cons:

Die Zimmertüren haben keine Türklinke, sondern nur Riegel innen und außen.
Wenn man zu zweit reist, entsteht dadurch ein Problem:
– Die Person, die zuerst ins Zimmer geht, kann die Tür nicht abschließen, weil die zweite Person dann nicht mehr hineinkommt.
– Umgekehrt kann die Person, die früher das Zimmer verlässt, die Tür nicht abschließen, ohne die andere Person im Zimmer einzusperren.

Loved staying there, the breakfast at its own Sun Francisco Cafe is super tasty and the yoga with Ashok on the rooftop terrace is amazing and can easily be booked spontaneously

A complimentary mosquito net could be nice, but I also didn’t ask for it, maybe they have it
