Exceptional resort, quiet yet social, friendly vibes throughout, excellent hospitality/ service. 5 stars! 🌟
Pros:

Thank you so much to Leanne, Tim, and Talon for having me at Ombak Resort. Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed in my life, and I mean that. The room was spacious, quiet, and set in a beautiful location. The food was fantastic, and the restaurant has such a great social vibe, with a pool table and an easy way to meet people, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. The coffee was machine made and delicious, which is a rarity/ treat in ekas.

The staff were all so friendly, accommodating, and helpful, full of great advice and surf tips. Tim’s knowledge was outstanding, and his background as a surfboard shaper came in handy when I damaged my board during the trip. Boat out every day, unbeatable holiday vibes.

An amazing stay. Thanks again guys, I can’t wait to come back! 🙌

A lovely relaxing experience in Ekas
Pros:

This was our 2nd stay here and once again we had a wonderful time. Leanne, Tim and Talon were just as welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. Ombak is a lovely place to stay.....with a really chilled vibe. Once again we met some great fellow travellers from all over the world. Our room was really clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great, we especially enjoyed the coffee and scrambled eggs for breakfast. The location is amazing.....although we are not surfers we enjoyed exploring the area. The nearby beaches are great for swimming and relaxing and there are also some nice local warungs nearby. Would thoroughly recommend staying here....we will definitely come back!

Pros:

The location is elevated, surrounded by farmland and a short walk downhill to the tiny village and beach. The gardens are lovely and the pool offered a refreshing dip, although it was too shallow for a dive. Breakfasts were varied and very good, while the lunch and dinner menus were varied and generous, if just a bit more expensive than usual. Staff were lovely and the owners helpful in whatever way was needed. If one wished, there were a number of warungs and homestays nearby where you could experience a different vibe.&!&

Cons:

Our only suggestion would be to have some sort of privacy screening, even temporary bamboo screens, between the verandas of the rooms, which were quite close together.

Pros:

L’ambiance, le soin apporté à la décoration, la chambre, les espaces communs et la piscine entourée de végétation. L’endroit est très agréable pour un court ou long séjour !
Les plats sont de qualité, bien que servis en petite quantité pour le prix.

Pros:

Un petit coin de paradis qu'il a été difficile de quitter ce matin!
Tout était parfait: la chambre parfaitement équipée et spacieuse, la salle d'eau très agréable, le jardin et la piscine et les espaces communs, ultra chaleureux. L'emplacement tout près de la plage à pied et la propreté du lieu sont également un vrai plus.
Tout cela est rendu possible grâce à Lee Ann, Tallon et Tim ainsi que l'ensemble du personnel, qui sont tous d'une grande gentillesse.
Nous avons adoré rencontrer et partager des moments avec les différents voyageurs, en rentrant du surf ou le soir en dînant.
Les cours de surf étaient géniaux, parfaitement organisés, tout comme les massages.
Nous reviendrons à Ekas, et sans hésitation à Ombak Resort.
