Ombak Resort at Ekas , a luxury surf and kite destination, Close to Inside Ekas beach

We booked a week and loved it. Luckily they had a room for us so we could stay a few extra days. Grateful for all the help from the owners and staff to accommodate our wishes and needs in this beautiful location.

My husband was able to surf and although I couldn’t this time, this was place was perfect for me too…Hanging out by the pool in the beautiful gardens with birds, listening to chill music (great playlists), enjoying the perfect temperature and tropical breeze, or checking out the views of the countryside and ocean.

The food here was top notch, made from scratch and freshly baked goods. The Americano coffees we had each morning might be the best we have ever tasted in our 30 years of traveling. Wow!

The snorkeling trip that they arranged for us from Pink beach was wonderful. Lots of fish and good visibility. Bonus to be welcomed by staff as if we were part of the family.

这里位置比较偏僻，人少安静，我刚到这里的时候感觉身上的每个细胞都被安抚了。接下来的两三天我们都感觉很放松舒适。我们很喜欢这里的氛围，老板和员工让人感觉到温暖但又保有礼貌的距离。这里晚上的时候很热闹但不嘈杂，基本上晚上十点不到就很安静了，每天都能睡个美美的觉。这里的食物有欧洲饭和印尼饭，我们觉得晚餐菜单上的食物特别好吃。

Great on site restaurant, pool, gardens, large and comfortable room. Excellent food! Twice daily free lift or boat ride to the surf! Staff were so helpful and lovely. Pool table! Did lots of swimming here.

It truly is a little oasis. A beautiful garden with a pool in the middle. Lee-Anne is taking a lot of care about the plants. The breakfast options are great and the overall restaurant menu. I liked the fact that they provide transport to the surf spot. The hosts are great and always helpful. You can get everything you need at the resort: Good food, free water refills, hire scooters, surfboards and even some necessities like toothpaste. Otherwise the location is rather remote, yet a couple of warungs are around in the little village. The internet is fast (Starlink), so I could get some work done. Just make sure to stay closer to the reception/restaurant if you have to rely on fast internet. The staff is super friendly and lovely as well.

We loved our stay here, Leanne and Tim were laid back and made sure we got waves at the best time everyday. The pool was relaxing and the food is excellent. Everything there was well priced. The room very clean and an oasis from the heat

A real oasis with wonderful hosts, great food and a beautiful surf spot. Our days there felt like home. Lee Anne, Tim and Talen run this place with so much humor, care and an impressively sure hand.

Both the owners and the staff are very friendly. The place is family-run, which makes you feel like part of the family during your stay at the resort. In my case, I went there to surf, so the experience really depends on the conditions. There are several good surf spots in the area, and if you have some experience, it’s best to rent a motorbike so you can move around depending on the forecasts. From the resort, you have the option to take a boat to Inside Ekas, but if that spot isn’t working, you’ll need to find your own way to one of the other spots. It’s definitely out in the countryside, and the local wildlife is part of the place, as it should be. The dog keeps the rat and lizard population under control, and the geckos take care of the cockroaches.

As soon as you enter the Resort you know you're going to be in for a beautiful stay. The welcoming staff and owners make you feel right at home. With a short stroll or bike ride down to many of the stunning quiet beaches and reef breaks, the location could not be better. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return soon.

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in Ombak.
De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk, net zoals hun fantastisch personeel.
Het hotel ligt dicht bij het strand. Ze brengen surfers en surfborden elke dag naar het strand met de auto.
Je kan er borden huren; voor ieder wat wils!
Het is er kleinschalig en gezellig. De kamers zijn erg mooi en heel comfortabel. De bedden zijn super!
De tuin met zwembad is heel mooi en aangenaam.
Het eten is er heerlijk en in de straat zijn ook andere goede warungs.
In de omgeving kan je ook prachtig snorkelen.

We verbleven hier zo graag en kijken er naar uit om terug te komen.

Piccolo resort nella tranquilla zona di Ekas, penso il migliore nella strada dove si trova . Proprietari molto attenti e genuinamente gentili . Le camere sono 9 noi abbiamo alloggiato in quella sopra al ristorante che ha una bella terrazzina. Ambiente informale dove tutto è ben organizzato , dall’ottimo ristorante alle uscite per il surf , si possono noleggiare tavole e motorini. Noi non abbiamo surfato ma la spiaggia vicina è molto bella e comoda . La zona di Ekas la consigliamo a chi cerca surf e relax in quanto a parte qualche guest house e warung non c’è altro . Stanza grande , bagno grande , buon condizionatore, portatevi i tappi per le orecchie perché la moschea vicina si fa sentire di notte .

The surfing situation is great! Board rentals, car to the beach and boat to the break two times per day. The overall vibe of the resort was great!
