Old property. Not maintained well. Room rent is very high even in office season. Not secure for family. Room locking is not proper.

Everything was perfect! From check in to check out the team took very good care of me and were attentive to every detail!

Comfortable stay, enjoyed river view from room balcony. Spacious rooms, delicious food.
We had booked 2 x rooms for 1 night stay at D'Polo through booking.com and was allotted a confirmation number 3507.927.522 - Price Rs.9730 plus taxes.
The night before travel I had phoned the D'Polo reservation desk who had confirmed my booking and stay.
My elderly parents were also travelling with us.
Upon reaching the hotel and at the Reception we were told that there was no booking under the name or the above reference - I asked them to double check and also spoke to the on duty manager (Praveen) who also said that they had no booking and they do not recognize this reference number of booking .com.
They offered my rooms on present day price which was much higher.
I felt pathetic, cheated, disrespected and decided to take my business elsewhere.
This was my first time through booking.com and I wish I had chosen make my trip which eventually came to our rescue to book another hotel and definitely exceeded the expectations.
Is this how D'Polo treats customers who have used booking.com !
I hope someone wakes up and deals with these leaches who take advantage of the situation.
I assure you that I will be sharing my experiences loud and clear with any one who is using booking.com
