Pros:

Camera grande e bella,ottimo frigobar,bagno molto funzionante con ottima doccia. Prima prenoti e meno spendi.

Cons:

Ho pagato 47€ al giorno non pochi per il luogo. Almeno una volta in 6 giorni,potevano pulire la stanza. Per il resto niente da dire,ottimo e bravi.

Hit and miss - has great potential
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and fantastic to help us move around the island and haggle with the locals. The food was great and the chef catered some dishes for us.
The room was spacious, and a stunning quiet beach was a few minutes walk from the stay.

Cons:

The walls were cardboard thin that didn't block any sound, and all rooms were close to a busy main road, which made us wake up from the early morning traffic.
The room had mold in it and we saw some cockroaches, which the staff took care of.

Great bar and friendly staff!
Pros:

This place is good, only for the wonderful bar! Since all the rooms are along the main island road there is so much noise of vehicular traffic at all times. Nights are really hard because of this and nothing can be done about it really. The staff were friendly and the food was decent.

Cons:

Noisy. Rooms are right beside the main road and there are buses, trucks and big vehicles plying at night creating such a din! Not for light sleepers.

Go there if you want to rest in style in Havelock but on budget
Pros:

Wild Orchid is a nice and stylish hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed sheets and pillows had no stains which is rare for India. Clean bathrooms.

No cockroaches in the rooms. I saw a few geckons but they were shy and didn't bother me.

Havelock Island electricity network goes off rather often. The hotel has a backup generator. When the electricity went off for the first time and the generator kicked in it looked strange. Later I felt it more like a hilarious island feature.

Narra restaraunt produces high-quality food and drinks. Their pumpkin toast is unforgettable! However, you are free to explore other dining options. There are plenty of them nearby including a big seafood restaraunt.

The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. They can exchange you USDs to IRN if you need to. There are just two ATMs at Havelock and they are far away from the hotel.

Cons:

The hotel is stretched along the main road between Kala Pathar and Govind Nagar beaches. Not very busy road but still the traffic is there.

I spent three nights in the hotel and haven't seen any room service. It was ok to me so I didn't raise it with reception. I don't like the way hotels make beds.

Toilet flush was weak. Who needs it in India where every bathroom has a nice bucket? ))
