I absolutely loved my stay here! The room was huge, cozy, spotless, and felt like a real home — big shower, proper work desk, a lounge corner, and even a room heater that was a lifesaver in winter. The hill views and cherry blossoms along Deorali Road were beautiful, and the room was so well soundproofed that I barely heard any traffic.

The food was exceptional. I ended up having every meal at the hotel because the continental dishes (pastas in particular!) and especially the desserts were genuinely some of the best I’ve had — the Millionaire Shortbread, Matcha Basque Burnt Cheesecake and warm Sea Salt Walnut Brownie were my faves. Breakfast was generous, warm, and always topped up - i looked forward to it every morning.

As tho that wasn’t enough, the best part was the amazing staff - warm, attentive, always available on WhatsApp, and clearly took pride in everything from the food to the service. It felt like staying with relatives who quietly look out for you… I’d come back in a heartbeat and recommend any family/friends to stay here for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Manaslu! The rooms were even more spacious and comfortable than they appeared in the pictures. Our host, Abhimanyu, was exceptionally kind and helpful, always available to answer our questions and make our stay enjoyable. We had initially booked for just two days but liked it so much that we returned for another night when we were back in Gangtok. The food was delicious, and overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Manaslu is a small hotel with very personalised service. After booking, I was in contact with the owner/manager Mr. Abhimanyu who was extremely kind, courteous and helpful in providing prompt responses, sharing useful tips and arranging for the transport during the whole period of our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Cooking, serving in the dining and housekeeping is provided by an adorable and friendly couple who ensured that our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.. The hotel is well loacted with a nice view. Though it is on a main road, the double-glazed windows filtered out the outside noise.

Very spacious, clean and stylish rooms. The food from the restaurant was delicious. The owner was very friendly and provided us with a lot of useful tips for sightseeing.

Manaslu is een modern, stijlvol klein hotel dicht bij de taxi stand van Gangtok. Ze hebben ruime kamers met een prachtig zicht op de vallei en een goed restaurant waar je zowel Indisch als Westers kunt eten. Wat wij vooral geapprecieerd hebben is de manier waarop de eigenaar 's morgens aan het ontbijt de gasten helpt om zich te organiseren: tips voor excursies, afspraken met taxichauffeurs... Warm aanbevolen!

We loved our stay with Manaslu. The caretakers were very sweet, the food was great. we stayed for 2 nights here, left to north sikkim and stayed 2 more nights and they always coordinated with us for the food. The room is super spacious, very nice and clean bathroom. Great storage space and wardrobe space.

There are rarely instances when the experience of staying at a place can match up to the rave reviews online, but Manaslu was one of those instances during my recent stay. I was traveling with my elderly parents who can be quite a handful but I am so glad that Abhimanyu the owner and all the staff made them feel so welcome and were so so acommodating. Abhimanyu is super helpful and will connect you to all the relevant thinsg you need like hiring a car, permits, local sightseeing. He even lent me a power adapter for my dead laptop! The location is a relaxing walk to the shoping centre and bang in the middle of Gangtok. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the cleanliness was spot on. The minimal aesthetic was so pleasant, when every second hotel you walk into these days has 5 types of clashing colors, it was a very welcome reprieve and went well with the mountains. This was a glorious place to stay and very much value for money. I would highly recommend this place, and supporting this local run and owned establishment!

Abhimanyu the owner is super helpful! Roshan the head chef is super good ! The croissants here at blue and yellow are just top quality and must try !

The wife of the owner is an architect and so has designed modern rooms with esthetic details like windows in unexpected places to incorporate the outdoor trees into the interior.

The location is perfect, with several great spots within walking distance. The owner, Abhimanyu, was incredibly helpful—he provided us with a list of things to do and all the essential information about Gangtok during our check-in. He was always just a call away in case we had any questions. What truly stood out was his thoughtful gesture of preparing breakfast early for us as we were heading to Lachen. It really made our stay extra special!

Manaslu was a stroke of luck! I remember reading the reviews amazing hospitality there and the comfortable stay and I have to stay Manaslu exceeded my expectations. The room was beyond perfect, well lit, comfortable, spacious, the location just at a perfect distance from the hustle bustle of MG Marg at Gangtok and the breakfast truly sumptuous. I remember reading about the cheesecakes and brownies and I'm glad that we spent every evening devouring the goodies there. Abhimanyu, the owner, ensures you are taken care of, checks on you and suggests patiently things you can possibly see and do at Gangtok. I am sure this is the place we'll stay when we visit Gangtok in the future and also recommend it all follow travellers.

Clean rooms and bathrooms, extremely spacious room with a decent view. Great host and staff always ready to help. Exceptionally great food.
