Pros:

Das Pub nebenan ist sehr praktisch. Die Zimmer sind ruhig im Nebenhaus. Frühstück sehr lecker.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer ohne Ablagen. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Nicht ganz sauber. Nur eine Duschtemperatur.

An unpleasant stay.
Pros:

The pub next door was about the only thing that was ok and breakfast was good with free parking close to the building.

Cons:

On arrival the staff paid little attention to the privacy of paper work and left it laying on a bench top in the communal area. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms themselves only in the shared area. The shared communal facilities was not advertised and was not cleaned or maintained at the time we were there. The lights in the bathroom were on sensors so stayed on for a long time and there was a window above the bathroom door shining the light in to the bed area. The shower was automated so no way to change the heat setting and you have to keep pressing a button to keep it going during your shower. The bathroom reminded us of a wet area for the elderly. There was no on site management which meant there were people smoking or vaping in the hallway and talking loudly until about 3 o'clock in the morning, so we didn't get any sleep

Pros:

It’s cosy and detached from the main pub (which is also well-appointed), walkable to Ballina if you’re able for it, otherwise a convenient jaunt into the town. The breakfast is affordable and tasty if you’re not staying there, but is included and tasty if you are.

Cons:

My room, number 1 (which was otherwise Very comfortable and relaxing to stay in), did face the smaller parking area abutting the lodging - though I parked in the ample parking out front (they will helpfully take down your plate number for some safeguarding of your vehicle while you stay there - and there are Large windows with Large shades to match, but be careful not to accidentally give the neighbourhood a show if you’re in that room.
