Miejsce historyczne i z duszą.
Atmospheric stay in elegant, historic surrounding. It feels very private, especially when outside visitors have left - guests made to feel very at home. Lovely pool, delicious food with imaginative menu.
Some of the service was a bit slow. The male staff were rather unsmiling.
The Sawantwadi Palace Hotel is a gem of its kind. Surrounded by beauty we were treated with utmost kindness. The experiences offered by the hotel took us into the cultural richness of the place and let us explore the fascinating beauty of the surroundings. Don't miss the Amboli Ghats nor the palace tour. The kitchen truly is next level. International excellence meets maharashtran tradition. Our warmest thanks to Tanuja and her team for this wonderful stay and this heartfelt hospitality.
There was nothing we disliked.
Everything. The palace is beautiful. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The food is amazing. The staff is super helpful and welcoming.
Beautiful location, beautiful and comfortable room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food was excellent and we had a wonderful and relaxing stay.
Nothing, it was perfect.
The food was exceptional. The lunch, dinner and breakfast were all really good - the Maharashtrian fare was the best. Masala Bharat, Thalipeeth, Misal - just fabulous. I wouldn't mind coming just to eat here again.
The courtyard had a nice peaceful vibe all day.
We were in Varaha room. The motor made noise all day. Every time someone would use the bathroom in the whole property the motor would make noise. It was difficult to sleep at night and I would not recommend this room. For a room that costs INR 27k a night - it's just not acceptable.
There was also no briefing about the property at check in. I had to go and ask them multiple times what we could do in Sawantwadi or at the palace. I couldn't tell even now if there were any other facilities at the property outside of the pool. I tried looking up online and then asked - Whether it was about the art workshop or the palace museum tour (which they said they'd take us the next day after breakfast but no one followed up).
Loved everything about the place. The rooms were great and the bathrooms were the highlight of the day. The staff were very professional and hospitable. Food was freshly made and was amazing also. Even the swimming pool was amazing.
Mosquitoes in thr night, couldn’t be avoided. But appreciate that they’ve provided with mosquitoe repellent spray.
What a unique place to stay ! A beautiful palace hosted by the royal family of Sawantwadi.
We stayed here last week and it was much much more than your regular hotel experience.
The friendly Prince and Princess showcased their exquisite culinary skills with a vibrant menu of tasty Japanese, Korean and Indian dishes.
Dining was a delight and the care of the friendly staff was next level. The rooms were stately and the generous pool was fantastic to lounge beside.
We learnt that Shraddha, the Princess, was standing in the local mayoral election fighting to clean up politics and to keep young women safe. On the day we were leaving we found out she had won. How lucky we were to be there for the celebrations !
Only an hour from Goa, if you want something entirely different on holiday the Sawantwadi Palace Boutique Art Hotel is a must. We loved it!
Curated experience. The ambience, attention to details and quality of food were excellent
Het eten was voortreffelijk. Lunch, dinner en ontbijt waren echt fantastisch.
De kamer was heel ruim. Welkomstdrankje en chocolaatje waren echt geweldig.
Niets
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Lot of noise (barking dogs, horns).
Thank you for a magnificent stay.
The hotel's beauty lies not only in the extraordinary facilities but also in the eyes and hearts of its loving staff. We look forward to returning and bringing more souls to be touched by your team and the spectacular environment created by the Royal family The Queen & The King of sawantwadi.
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location
The garden, swimming pool, the specious rooms so clean and neat.
A perfect blend of modern comforts & local history. My 8 year old and I enjoyed the ganjifa art lessons very much. The food was just excellent. Everything was perfect from the dessert for breakfast, Malvani thalis, to Japanese ramen. We also loved the care and attention from the staff, as and warmth from the royal family themselves. The suggestion to visit a local aquarium was perfect for a rainy day. We’ll definitely be back.
It’s hard to pick anything that we didn’t like!
The authenticity was something that struck home with us on arrival. The decor was incredible, the local crafts were in evidence in the painted furniture and the place looked like it had been kept and restored to a very high standard.
Nothing
Sawantwadi Palace Hotel provided an extraordinary escape into opulence and culinary excellence. HH Princess Shraddha ma’am’s curated dinner showcased a diverse array of world cuisines, impeccably prepared and on par with the finest Michelin-starred restaurants . The attention to detail and the personalized touch added a unique charm to the experience.
The morning breakfast by the lake was a magical affair, surrounded by serene waters and nature's beauty. The tranquility of the setting enhanced the flavors of the breakfast spread.
The palace itself is a masterpiece, exuding grandeur and historical charm. The "Varaha" room, where we stayed, epitomized luxury with its lavish furnishings and attention to comfort. Every corner of the palace seemed to tell a story, creating an immersive and enchanting atmosphere.
Our stay at Sawantwadi Palace Hotel was not just accommodation; it was an indulgent journey into elegance and sophistication. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to those seeking a retreat that combines regal ambiance, culinary excellence, and unparalleled hospitality.
