Scam: People demanded for more money
Pros:

Awesome place to stay!

Cons:

We checked in at the hotel at 18:00 on 11.07 2023. The people at the reception demanded for more money. Saying that i have booked for room only with Fan and not with AC. Even though in the room facilities it has been mentioned that the room is already with Air conditioning. The people who were working in the property, asked us to pay 400 rupees per room for the AC facility. Since we travelled with the family, I did not want to argue at late hours that the room already includes AC in the booking.
The next day, supporting my statement, there is no Non AC room at the facility. So it was a clean Scam which they demanded for more money.

An expensive hotel in C class City
Pros:

Room & Bath rooms were clean and no other plus point.

Cons:

The tariff rate is too high for a non AC room in this C class City. In Metro Cities like Chennai one can get a 3 star accommodation with complimentary Breakfast. Other than the room service no other facilities available here. Though I had booked my stay at Temple Stay, I was moved to Uma Guest house which is not good.

Clean hotel in Mayiladuthurai staffed by friendly folks, silently located between the trainstation and the towns centre. unfortunately no breakfast but a nice restaurant nearby.
