Pros:

The hotel has a great location, a beautiful sea view, a lovely pool, and we really enjoyed the cocktails and food (restaurant view). We also appreciated being upgraded to a sea-facing room, as the hotel we originally booked was not available. Overall, the setting is beautiful and we had a lovely time enjoying the views, pool and food.

Cons:

We were quite disappointed with our stay, mainly because we booked Kalimba but were accommodated at Tamala instead. While we understand that both properties are part of the same group, they are two different establishments, and we would have appreciated being informed of this change beforehand. I had already stayed at Tamala in the past and, based on that experience, I would have preferred to know in advance that we would be staying there again.

Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property also needs improvement. The infrastructure feels quite dated and could benefit from better maintenance and more attention to cleanliness. There were also some unpleasant sanitary smells during our stay, and basic things such as garbage bags were occasionally missing.

The air conditioning in the second room was also not working properly, which was not ideal given the weather. There are also quite a lot of cats around the property, which may not be an issue for everyone, but can be uncomfortable for guests who are not particularly comfortable around animals.

The breakfast can be improved too.

Overall, we feel that the property has potential, but there are several small details that could make a significant difference to the guest experience. Better communication regarding room allocation, improved maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to basic amenities would definitely make the stay much more enjoyable.

Lovely resort by the beach
Pros:

The hotel is five star, the services are five star, the location is perfect a the beach and with not so much human traffic on the beach. The staff were very professional and friendly. I love the fact that there was a mango tree just right outside my room.

Pros:

De directe ligging aan het strand is subliem.
Het hotel ligt in een mooie, zeer nette tuin met tussenin ondiepe (1.45m) zwembaden.
Er straalt vooral rust uit
Personeel is super vriendelijk en geen moeite is hen teveel.
Ruime kamers en balkon.
Dagelijks voldoende aanvulling van flesjes water.
Score van 8,6 lijkt mij perfect.

Cons:

Ondanks dat het buffet rijkelijk lijkt, is het vaak hetzelfde.
De slaapkamer is proper en ruim maar de 'badkamer' is oud, versleten en nodig aan vervanging toe.
Je kan het strand ook niet opkomen of je wordt aangesproken door verkopers.
Het hele hotel was vergeven van alléén maar Nederlanders. Niet mijn favoriete omgeving om daar dus een hele week tussen te zitten.
Van een 4-sterren hotel zou je zeep en shampoo verwachten.

Tjenerne var for hurtig til at fjerne tallerkener og glas fra bordet men nåede knap nok at blive færdig inden de tog

Wonderful and relaxed.
Pros:

Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and fun. The restaurant and bar staff were attentive and helpful. The chefs were great and provided a variety of choices at every meal time. Special mention to Chef Kujabi. Our room was serviced daily- special mention to Saiko Danso. Good to see well trained and viligant lifeguards present. A relaxed and professional approach by the mainly Gambian staff. A credit to your country, community and polished hospitality skills.

Cons:

There could be more complimentary toileteries put in the room. This was not the fault of the cleaning staff but a hotel policy position.

Mir hat alles gefsllen, vor allem die Menschen waren aussergewöhnlich freundlich.

Cons:

Die Türen und Fenster könnten auf ihre Schliessmechanismen überprüft werden. Wenn im Zimmer Licht ist, scheint es unter der Türe durch was Insekten anlockt.

Un buen sitio para estar unos días

Tuve que pedir un cambio de habitación porque me habían alojado en una habitación con vistas al jardín muy pobre que además estaba en obras pero muy gentilmente accedieron a cambiarmela y estuve en una habitación muy cómoda
